haul yourself down to the local Republican party office (start at the precinct level if you haven't done it before), sign up, attend meetings, go to events, bring family and friends, and push that little piece of the political landscape to the right. Move on from there

Great thought. Doesn't work in the real world. The GOP-E owns the rule book. And if they detect a real conservative that won't play their game, they sideline him with existing rules, or change the rules mid-stream (See Florida).

Nope. Only hope is that the GOP-E dies on the vine after being starved out.

We've been playing in their sandbox for years trying to move them right....instead they go Democrate.....so all this talk of getting involved doing the same thing isn't getting the job done....so there has to be another approach that's workable.

What I do know is any organization to get a conservative IN and running has to come from outside the GOP and "their" friends....not so sure that's possible for they are all entrenched and ready to slam down any that rise above the surface in "their" territory.
