Mandeville, LA Its firearms manufacturer McMillan Group International and the Bank of America refusal, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
While its not uncommon to see retail businesses and restaurants refuse to do business with those that choose to carry a personal firearm, it is less common for a major bank to drop a client because the client is part of the firearms industry. But as reported by Kelly McMillan, Director of Operations for McMillan Group International, thats exactly what Bank of America did last week. McMillan shared the story with media outlets and on the companys Facebook page , and has updated followers as it progresses. Bank of America has claimed the story was untrue , and then was a misunderstanding. Writes McMillan on their Facebook page, McMillan Group has been in good standing with B of A and a loyal customer for the past 12 years. We were told that we must finalize all of our accounts because we manufacture firearms. Hear the whole story and the latest developments this Sunday when McMillan calls Gun Talk. Keep up with them on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/McMillanGroupInternational .
Also on this Sunday, Seattle Gun Rights Examiner writer Dave Workman drops by with news and updates on stories he's been following. Find him at http://www.examiner.com/gun-rights-in-seattle/dave-workman .
Its the last few days to enter to win the Ruger 10/22 TakeDown! Grand Prize includes the brand-new rifle, carrying bag and two BX-25 magazines. Enter at www.guntalk.com/contest.
Pow!
Freepmail to get On/Off the Gun Talk Pinglist
Hello fellas!
Hiya Dave!
Did you get that AR sighted in?
Yep, they’re all good to go.
Anyone have a bank they can recommend?
Yes, GT airs in the afternoon.
I do the rebroadcast in the evening because most folks are busy with family stuff on Sunday afternoon.
Everybody here wants that 10/22 takedown rifle but $300 for a 22 is pretty steep.
Good deal.
Glad you got some range time and had success.
Any Stasi out there?
But seriously, I can’t help you with the bank search. The one I deal with is just here in my state, not a national outfit.

Anyone here own one?
They’re all assholes.
We use Wells Fargo.
Depending on your needs, sometimes a Credit Union is a better choice.
I love Star pistols and I could understand that fellow wanting it, even if it was in 9mm Largo 9x22?
I have the Star BM 9x19 and it is the sweetest shooting pistol ever.
It is heavy, I dont know what the deal is with spanish steel
I would love to own a Model B 9x19
Wells Fargo isnt easily accessible to me any more.
I used them when I lived in Az
I hate BOA and swore I would not do business with them ever again back in 82
20 some years later they bought out Nations Bank and now I’m stuck with them again :(
Hello!
You lucky bastage!
Sounds like BOA is back peddling big time!
LOL!
I was considering Jethro Bank!
How does your Solo run? I wanted one at first sight, but then heard a lot of negative reports. I assume any early problems would be soved by now. I’d get one in a NY minute if I thought they were rock solid.
Had a friend this week apply for his CCW permit. The sheriff told him...people need to get over thier fear of guns, they have no idea of what’s coming down the pike...

Ain’t she purdy? I’ll let you know if it’s a hand thumper when I shoot it next week.
It will be interesting to see if yours has feeding problems like some I’ve heard of on internet forums where everyone likes to gripe.
Skeery.
I think **** could get crazy too.
But even when times are fat, it’s best to be prepared.
Anyone here own one? Yes... and I recommend Blackdog Machine LLC to buy one. Ciener has terrible customer service, but blackdog (an authorized distributor) has very good customer service. Blackdog manufactures and sells the best magazines to fit in the AR to run Ciener and other conversion kits.
Nice.
Shows how long it’s been since I bought a new gun, warning label? Gee guess you don’t know a firearm can injure or kill.
Yeah I have heard of them but they aren’t local to me.
I tell ya what, No One knocks off a bank where the customers are armed.
“Reliable” is the only thing I’ve heard and that’s from an owner. Not shot mine yet but will let you know.
Negatives I’ve read is wear inside the slide and wear behind the take down lever.
I bet the label is a laser warning.
Them things smart if they hitcha in the eye!
THX. I’ll also be curious about trigger quality. When I bought my Kahr PM9 which I ordered, the trigger was not as good as some I fonldled. I have since smoothed it out.
I have seen the cieners with 3 blackdog mags for under $150
But I havent seen that offer in a while.
Can it be from limp wristing? I could probably get my Glocks to jam too if I did. These are so hard to get, not one in my state, had to get it on gunbroker.com. And everyone is selling way over MSRP.
true..I just added to my collection a S.&W. 500.
I have a CMMG stainless insert. Runs like a sewing machine until about 200 rounds. Then the thing needs cleaned adn it’s good to go another 200 or so.
I have a lot of his magazines for the Ciener and the DPMS/Colt kits. The Ceiner can be picky with different ammo, and does not like to be dirty at all.
The blackdog magazines though... I will swear by them, best i have used.
Nice!
Show off
I had heard that the Stainless Ciener conversion kit tends to be pickier about being clean.
I think thats about the only gripe I have heard about it.
Whoaa....
