The White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday night brought out not only media celebrities but also their critics. The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic gathered outside of the Washington Hilton and heckled (H/T Marooned in Marin blog) attendees who walked past them or drove by. The group is known to do this every year for the past 13 WHCD's.

I must say I met Matthews once and he’s actually a pretty good guy. His politics is absurd, but if you don’t talk politics he’s not half bad.
I went to DC for several of these freeps in past years-—just couldn’t make it this year.
The photos brought back some happy memories.
It was great to see Kristinn there. He seems to always have the best questions to ask!

I have a few choice words for the fan of Saul Alinsky.
When I first saw Matthews on TV his politics were not nearly so absurd as now, in fact he often actually made sense! Rush Limbaugh actually said back then that Matthews was one of the few who “usually gets it right”. Things have really changed.
In real life, the man is an inarticulate buffoon, and not terribly intelligent.
