As of late, conservatives have been dominating social media platforms including Twitter. In 140 characters or less, conservatives have managed to get deep under the skin of the progressives using the site and in retaliation, it seems, some Twitter users from the left are creating blocklists to automatically get conservatives accounts suspended.
If you are conservative and using Twitter, you may be on a blocklist.
Chris Loesch is one such unlucky conservative who had his account suspended twice in one hour. Apparently, Mr. Loesch got into a heated Twitter discussion with progressives who were threatening and harassing his wife Dana, who works for the Breitbart empire.
A group of tweeps from the left banded together and spam blocked Loeschs account activating the automatic suspension tool woven into the Twitter technology. If enough people click the Block for Spam button on an account, the user is suspended without warning.
Loeschs initial suspension was less than 30 minutes old when the hashtag #FreeChrisLoesch started trending. A conservative army of followers heard of the suspension and flash mobbed twitter with an outpouring of support for Loesch. His account was reinstated only to have the very same thing happen minutes later.
Rumors on Twitter and other social media sites suggest that there are other conservatives who are being targeted not for actual spam, but for being conservative. There are lists floating around that encourage Twitter users to abuse the auto-suspension tool to silence those who disagree politically.
If you have seen or can link to any such lists, DM me on Twitter. This story isnt over yet.
I hope I am.
The ‘Obama machine on the move’ of course. Block and Black out anything which might inform the public of anything other that what they desire be heard.
There’s a reason why all the internet giants met with Obama....expect more of this.
One should probably not be surprised.
The left cannot win an honest debate; so its only realistic hope, if it is to succeed, is to censor the opposition...
Liberals are the totalitarian thugs of our time...
Is the “Kill George Zimmerman” account still open?
I refuse to use Twitter because I’m not a twit.
I post on Twitter once in a while. Was on the other day posting some links and Obama’s Florida campaign ‘followed’ me. I immediately blocked them. Two can play that game.
I can proudly say I am.
I created a Twitter account when Rush was giving away iPads to people who “re-tweeted” messages from him. When you create the account, you have to “follow” at least 10 or so people on Twitter. It’s the most incredibly boring thing I’ve ever been involved with. It’s a full time job just to keep up with it because there are tons of tweets all the time. No wonder so many occupiers waste time on it. It’s perfect thing for an unemployed person to waste time on. It’s worse than Facebook.
Politics is war without bloodshed. - Mao
They followed me, too. I don't block them, I let them get my Tweets full-strength without acknowledging them. THEN they unfollow me or even better, they block me. Just because they follow you doesn't mean they will be able to post to you or that you have to follow them.
I don’t twit, text or Facebook.
Clicking the “Report Spam” button for the purpose of forcing someone’s account to be closed strikes me a a violation the Twitter’s Terms of Service.
I wonder if the crack team of Security at Twitter is on this?

Post of the Day!
And I definitely don't have messages coming to my phone.
Oh, and last summer, I tried following some of the better food trucks in Manhattan, but since I don't get messages on my phone, I couldn't get current locations because those trucks move around a bit. (Considering some of the garbage some trucks serve, if you find a good one, it might be worth following so you know when your in the neighborhood.)
Tweets are junvenile.
Liberals have been the totalitarian thugs since the very first liberal.
Any conservatives on those twitter debates should return the favor by “scam blocking” their most egregious violators. tit for tat
I remember AOL discussion blogs where anybody with a Conservative bent was targeted for expultion. I myself got thrown off more than once until I just got bored with AOL and their “biased” liberal moderators. Ef AOL, Ef twitter
Who gives a twit?
Twitter’s TOS (Terms Of Service) just like AOL’s were biased against conservatives! Or let’s say more regularly ENFORCED against conservatives than liberals.
after all - Aren’t the jerks who started twitter and googala, radical leftist’s themselves?
And who the heck ever bother’s to read their Efn terms of service...
most of the lefties that frequent these talk/discussion groups, do this on a full-time basis! They have no jobs, are probably collecting SSI and sitting in the basement of their mommy’s house at their computers.
Usually you can spot them by their self-inflicted User Names.
One ahole on AOL, if I can remember, went by user name F***Bush... Numerous complaints and AOL never removed him/her ... great TOS there!?
“City Data?” discussion groups were/are liberal biased also.
b o r i n g ... leftists - Winning an argument for them means taking their ball and going home!
But it’s private property.
They can block who they want to protect their political and cultural philosophies.
Who wastes time with something like this “twitter blocking”?
I’d say get a life liberal pubes..
How do you get in a discussion on Twitter? I thought all you could do was follow or send messages to certain subscriptions. Do you have to have everyone in the discussion continually send their messages to the same subscription or something? Not to mention how can you carry on any kind of a discussion when you’re limited to about half a sentence per message.
