In fact, United Refining Company uses only 100% North American crude oil, and that oil is refined right here in Pennsylvania.

Seems pretty simple. Kills that "global commodity" arguement very effectively.

United Refining needs to add a “no ethanol” grade. I pay extra for no-ethanol gas whenever I can find it, because my gas mileage improves by about 4MPG.

I was just in Lynchburg last week. I’ll be sure to do a search for them the next time I’m out that way. Should also check on the Eastern Shore next time I’m up that way. It’ll take a lot of the sting out knowing that when I’m paying for a fillup I’m buying American refined and North American produced product.

They still have a lot of room to grow here in Western Pennsylvania. Our nearest is in Derry, PA, about 25 miles away. I fill up there whenever I am traveling to the northeast of where I live.
