His last show was April 18th . If he takes this entire week off too that’ll make a total of 18 days . Does any other talk show host take that long off ? He always says he hates taking long vacations , yet ...
Yeah I have never seen him go off the air for this long. I wonder if he’s taking a stay-cation in the Bay Area or somewhere else
If Savage switches to "best of" you may want to listen to this guy who at this point has fifty stations and I think is not yet in Talker's magazine 250.
Andy Dean is outspoken and a bit unconventional in that he has features that cover daily odd news, has regular legal opinions about aspects of current news items. Some of the regular guests are liberal lawyers and that makes for some lively debates. Most of the show is about current events and there are guests.
This thread is good for a late listener like me to find out if the Doc will be in, who might be hosting if he's not, and always, who is leaving to listen to Levin (whom I like too); otherwise it's usually a downer.
So what if Savage takes 18 days off? Oh, and I like how the weekend days were counted to make it seem like longer than it would actually be (12)...lots of integrity in that. Sounds like a 99 percenter complaining, "he gets 18 days off, it's not fair!" Michael Savage doesn't OWE you a show every day. He's 70; he's earned the right to do what he wants. Some of you continually sound like a bunch of caustic spoiled whiners, who've forgotten to count your blessings. Sorry, but that's how it seems.
You could do more damage by calling or writing your local or internet radio stations to complain about the 4 day weeks, the book readings, the third hour, the pre-recorded interviews, suffix pronunciations, etc., then, like those of us in my town now, you won't have to bother changing the radio station to hear Mark Levin or waste more time on this thread.
Me, I will happily wait & listen via podcast to Jeff Kuhner, and his accent, and cherish the live Savage shows we may have left in the future. Who knows how many there will be?

You’ve got it all wrong BW . It’s just my opinion that when you have a nationally syndicated radio talk show - # 3 in the nation as the Doc constantly reminds us - that 18 days ( assuming that is what he plans on doing ) is overly long for a vacation . Perhaps he is dealing with some health issues , in which case I totally understand the need for close to 3 weeks off . No 99 percenter I !
