Clinton Labor Sec. Reich Dedicates New Book to Occupiers Beyond Outrage urges readers to organize against regressive right. By Dan Gainor May 1, 2012 Subscribe to Dan Gainor's posts
As the Occupy Wall Street Protests hit across the nation this May 1, its important to remember the support the group has received from the mainstream left. Backers have ranged from pundits like Paul Krugman and Thomas Friedman to Hollywood artists like Kanye West, Mark Ruffalo, and Anne Hathaway.
Former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich made his strong support known by dedicating his latest e-book, Beyond Outrage, to the movement. The introduction included this line: To the Occupiers, and all others committed to taking back our economy and our democracy. And the book read like a statement of principles for Occupiers everywhere and Reichs latest assault on what he called the regressive right. He urged readers to organize against the regressives.
In a video about the book, Reich promised to explain why and how our economy is rigged against average working people. Reich, who is chairman of the lefty group Common Cause and Chancellors Professor of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley, spent most of the book either bashing conservatives or recommending progressive solutions for the U.S. economy.
Even after the dedication, he made his love for the Occupiers obvious: Score a big one for the Occupiers. Regardless of whether you sympathize with the so-called Occupier movement that began spreading across America last fall, or whether you believe it will become a growing political force in America, it has had a profound effect on the national conversation, he wrote.

WRIGHT said that they just need to bring down the Brecksville Northfield High Level Bridge - and that as long as stuff "gets f--ked up" he'll be happy with the action.
'On April 20, 2012, the CHS drove WRIGHT and C.S. to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park directly below the High Level Bridge to do surveillance...
Upon arriving at the location, WRIGHT observed that the Brecksville-Northfield High Level Bridge is a two lane bridge and opined that eight blocks of C-4 will take out a good chunk of it or it will at least drop out a whole section of the bridge. The CHS said they should walk down along the side of the train tracks running tmdemeath the bridge; however WRIGHT wanted to go in the middle, away from the railroad tracks and people. He also stated that if the bridge loses one of the arches the whole thing will probably come down...
Finally, the group discussed what would happen if they were caught. Baxter thought that they will all go to Guantanamo Bay if they get caught, they will not go to a normal prison. To prevent capture, he suggested getting tacks that they could throw out of the back of the car if they get caught in a chase.
