Wave after wave of young men surged forward to take turns punching and kicking their victim.
The victim's friend, a young woman, tried to pull him back into his car. Attackers came after her, pulling her hair, punching her head and causing a bloody scratch to the surface of her eye. She called 911. A recording told her all lines were busy. She called again. Busy. On her third try, she got through and, hysterical, could scream only their location.

It happened four blocks from where they work, here at The Virginian-Pilot.
Two weeks have passed since reporters Dave Forster and Marjon Rostami - friends to me and many others at the newspaper - were attacked on a Saturday night as they drove home from a show at the Attucks Theatre. They had stopped at a red light, in a crowd of at least 100 young people walking on the sidewalk. Rostami locked her car door. Someone threw a rock at her window. Forster got out to confront the rock-thrower, and that's when the beating began...

Norfolk’s hey day is long gone. It used to be a great place to live. I grew up there and loved it. Now it is a hell hole and the Va Pilot is a rag that suits it’s surroundings.
Went to Waterside to celebrate the 4th of July and as soon as the fireworks were over..the cops told everyone to get out of there. Kids on bicycles from the projects descended on the area.
After MLK Jr was killed...it was dangerous for the Navy Chiefs to drive through Titustown. Blockades were set up by mobs and a few chiefs were drug out of their cars and beat. There are a lot of unreported stories in Norfolk and Portsmouth...you won’t ever hear it in the media.
I guess in a world view, it might eventually make an impact if these black on white/asian/hispanic attacks continue...maybe within a generation these people will know who really protects them and butters their bread and its not the democorrupts...

From Patrick Buchanan’s “Suicide of a Superpower” come the FBI’s crime figures for 2007: “Blacks committed 433,934 violent crimes against whites, eight times as many as the 55,685 that whites committed against blacks. Interracial rape is almost exclusively black-on-white, with 14,000 assaults on white women by African-American males in 2007. Not one case of white sexual assault on a black female was found in the FBI study.” (Page 243)....combined with 13 percent of the population comprising 43 percent of the prison inmates.....you have to ask.... why aren’t Whites fighting back?
Other people ... while they, protected by the best security money or power can provide, remain high and dry and out of the rain.
First mistake was getting out of the car and secondly was stopping for a red light when surrounded by savages. What
should happen in these situations is for the victims to toss out a few dozen fragmentation pineapples without spoons attached and floor it.
