When we left all those people to fend for themselves in the Pacific, some one made that decision. My brother in law survived the Bataan Death March. I doubt he was interested in taking any prisoners.

I know for a fact we were not seeking to take any prisoners when we took Iwo.

We fire boomed innocent Japanese and Germans on a daily basis. We bombed factories with civilian forced labor, and we bombed them to the ground.
