Seeing you are a SD fan do you know if he had a concussion issue? I pray for his kids and wife.

Very sad.

Seau was just one of a long list of former Chargers who went on to greatness after leaving the Chargers. He was a very good player on a not so very good team.

Just damn. I have followed his career since he was a standout at Oceanside High School. Prayers to his family and loved ones.

Might have an equally charged problem if it is brain damage from steroids. Sorry to see this happen, I enjoyed his game.

We would hear about marital difficulties, but then he went to other teams and I moved to Mississippi.

I’m so shocked. God rest his soul.

I remember the days when he gave so freely of his time to kids.

The steroids problem is fixable for the NFL, the concussion issue will be much tougher to fix without making drastic changes to the game.

Some stars can’t hack live outside the spotlight. I wonder if that was a factor.

Very sad. I loved Seau, a true 100%’er.

I don’t see how the game as we know it survives the concussion issue.

He is like the 8th member of the 1994 Chargers Championship team to die!

He was paid handsomely for those hits he delivered. His choice.

Terribly sad and shocking. He had to have been troubled beyond his ability to cope. His poor children need our prayers. God bless them. Suicide is the final act of despair, but it sure leaves the loved ones empty.

Dave Duerson did the same saying he left his brain intact to be studied for the effects of concussions.
