She has learned at a young age the lesson that you can do your bosses bidding and he will hang you out to dry, if needed.
Ha! She did what NBC bosses always want - she slanted the story left. The only problem with this case is that she tarred and feathered Zimmerman as a “white racist” during the Klan with the Tan rally via creative editing. NBC is responsible for a lot of white people getting beat up and for the Klan putting a price on Zimmerman’s head. She/NBC got caught in this particular propaganda venture because a lot of the public had available the original tape and found out they manipulated for liberal race hate.
They only fired her to cut their losses for when Zimmerman or another victim of the whitey witch hunt they orchestrated comes to collect on their little racist “mistake.”

WHITE hispanic... the MSM played him as some conservative who identified with the cops - neighborhood watch and all... The ‘press’ seems to be reassessing now that they know Zims democrat and a ‘not so white’ Hispanic... but I take your point.
