Quite a light show this morning...rain is brutal!

Morning p6! Yep! I woke up around 3:15 and lay there watching the room light up. finally fell asleep round 4:00. I’m still tired.
Scare last night as oldest son had to take his 2 YO daughter to the hospital. She and her 4 YO brother were playing when suddenly she started crying and couldn't mover her right arm.
Still not sure what happened. We babysat her brother and he kept saying a bug bit her but the docs couldn't find anything. Last word is she dislocated tendons or something. She seems OK this morning.

Oh gosh I hope she’s ok! Was she crying because she couldn’t move it, or because it hurt when she tried to move it? Poor little thing!
And oh crap! I just found a tick under my right arm about 6 inches below the armpit. It was dead and flat as a pancake. I gave a good yank and I think I got it all. Dang! Last thing I need is Lyme disease! There’s a 1/4 inch red mark there now. I’m going to have to keep an eye on it.

I think dhe might have fallen and stretched it and that’s why she was crying. She’s OK this morning as far as I know. Have to wait for mrs p6 to get up to find out.
When I started walking this morning it was starting to pour. Along one of the highest ridges in Allegheny county the lightning was hitting all around me....REALLY CLOSE!
About 15 minutes into the walk one of the local barflys spotted me as she was headed home from a health club. She stopped and asked if I wanted a ride.
I probably should have stayed with my walking/exercise program but it was raining so bad I took the ride. Missed the whole start of the show though.

Did you get your pc updated? Mine is getting a newish graphics card today along with another 2G of ram, new speakers, and an adapter that can read IBD2 scans.

Such storms over night! We keep getting showers, no more vivid lightening—just rain here.
I have a lot of reading to cath up on—but I subscribe to a couple Right to Life newsletters. I knew of Chen but didn’t know what all occurred this week. I think this is as much to appease the Left (he is anti Chinese one child only) as it is to kiss China’s butt. They didn’t just throw him under the bus, they ran the blind activist over.

I couldn’t take time overnight to investigate but that is what I heard. Oh, mrs p6 has something about the trial on now...
