Veterans for a Strong America, a non-partisan veteran and military support group, is hitting President Obama for "spiking the football" on the one year anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death. The group has published an advertisement showing Obama taking all the credit for the bin Laden killing while explaining that "real heroes don't take credit." The ad also slams former President Bill Clinton for saying if the raid had gone wrong, it would have been horrible for Obama rather than the Navy SEALs who risked their lives to kill bin Laden

” Heroes Don't Take Credit”
It he had any brains (or decency) at all, that statement SHOULD dampen “O’s” supercilious, vulgar conceit.... but it probably WON'T! But then, if he had any brains or decency, he wouldn't do what he does, I guess.
Can you say ‘swiftboat’??

True puny politicians act like Obama and Clinton.
Great Leaders like Churchill and then General Eisenhower do not.
Obama is smaller than puny. He is algea.

Apparently Bill didn't read the AAR from the disastrous attempt to free the Iranian hostages.
While it was embarrassing for Carter, it wasn't as horrible as it was for the men we lost!

These honors are not for me, they are for my 6,000 buddies and comrades who never made it home from Iwo Jima to enjoy what they fought for. I have often wondered how I survived. I am just a good ole country boy who hadnt been anywhere when I stepped foot off the ship. Im not a hero, my heroes didnt come back. They died over there. They made possible all the things we now enjoy.

You are right. Carter didnt have anything to do with the actual failure of this mission, but it hurt his popularity.
Im sure the 8 hero's that died that day as well as all the hostages that were released without incident as soon as Reagan was sworn in are real sorry it hurt him in that way.
