Support Myth Obamney? I SAY "HELL NO!" (VANITY)
self | May 3, 2012 | Neil E. Wright

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

There has been a lot of discussion on this forum on whether or not a "conservative" can or should support Mitt Romney in the general election.

I am 60 years old, and for all of my adult life, since I joined the U.S. Navy at age 17, I have fought the EVIL ideology that is socialism/marxism/communism/statism, call it what you will. And it IS EVIL. It destroys the human spirit. It reduces every individual to a state of hopeless dependence on an all powerful state, run for the benefit of a few favored, powerful, connected people.

We all KNOW that B. HUSSEIN O. is a communist, and truth be told, an islamist supporter. So, he MUST be defeated and destroyed, along with his ideology.

However, myth obamney is also a "progressive" (read COMMUNIST), BY HIS OWN WORDS.

His actual record is indistinguishable from B. HUSSEIN O.

"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

Therefore, I will NOT vote for a socialist/marxist/communist/statist, REGARDLESS of party label. I WILL NOT VOTE FOR myth obamney in November. I will vote for the Constitution Party candidate, Virgil Goode, or I will write in my DOG over EITHER major party candidate, because they are EXACTLY the same.

Before you start to flame me, ask yourself this: IF myth somehow is elected, do you REALLY expect him to roll back ANYTHING that B. HUSSEIN O. forced on us? ObamaCare??? That is RomneyCare. EPA rules and regulations? Labor relations rules and regulations that empower unions? Energy policy? IS THERE ANYTHING that the rooster-sucking, goat-humping statist socialist/communist Myth Obamney will eliminate? I would suggest that his whole f**king record says not only "no" but "HELL NO!" There is NOTHING he would change.

So, for all the myth obamney lurkers, go back to your f**king candidate and tell him I said he can take his "God in waiting" cult beliefs, his f**king "magic underwear" and his f**king communism and GO STRAIGHT TO HELL!

“Where liberty dwells, there is my country." –Benjamin Franklin

Mitt is extremely worrisome and no amount of word salad here is going to change that. He has the theoretical capacity of pushing things more leftward than Obama would. What makes him tick is a matter of educated guess. We can safely say that being a Mormon does not encourage him to forego flip flopping, as Mormon theology has flip flopped at what Mormons claim to be the will of God. But neither does existing Mormon theology seem to dictate what he’ll actually do.

Still, I think that Mitt is a “get along to get along” kind of politician. Finger in the wind. Whoever gets his ear, turns his feet. If America as a whole gets Mitt’s ear we would likely be safe from the worst. If it’s all Washington insiders, then Katy bar the door.

An Obama win will be a huge moral victory for liberalism.

Moral? You have to be kidding. It will strictly be a win for those who worship at the Alter of State Power.

Obama, the GOP-e, Mitt, Rove, etal ALL worship an almighty State. Why do you think 7 or the 10 richest counties in America are around DC? A powerful State.

There is no way on Earth that an Obama win can ever be good for Conservatives.

Correction below:

There is no way on Earth that an Obama OR Mitt win can ever be good for Conservatives.

As soon as Mitt seals the nomination, the Statists have won.

Mitt will do nothing to reduce government size or scope. Therefore throughout his term, the MSM, the RATS will all be screaming "The far right-wing hard-core Conservative Mitt is a failure, the economy is not improving, blah blah blah"

The ironic thing is Mitt will do very little to turn things around and would be rightfully to blame. He will fail because he is a Statist. He will do what all Statists do: Increase the size and scope of government.

Do you honestly believe Mitt would go all out for Liberty and Limited government?? That is impossible for him. No, Mitt will dreaming of the ONE big program that will be his legacy.

So, indeed Conservatives and our Republic will be screwed with either choice. I will do a write-in and vote Conservative down ticket.

Please don’t tell me you think conservatives will have any sort of pull with Romney if he’s elected. He has a record of bending in the direction of a leftward blowing wind, despite the fact that he’s been trying to get elected as a Republican for a couple of cycles now.

The man had every opportunity to build a bridge to the Tea Party from its very inception, but what did he do? He completely ignored and steered around them, because he’s oil to their water.

Don’t kid yourself. This guy has disaster written all over him for the political right.

It is evident you are part of the group think of evangelicals that haunt this place. Humanity creates morals, but thats just MHO. I do not need a bible to tell me right from wrong.

We had some folks back in the 20th Century that wanted a well ordered world without strife (their way).

They killed tens of millions.

I can stand a little disorder and discomfort.

It’s no one’s business who I vote for. Maybe we should all just remember that we don’t have to tell anyone how we’re voting?

There never was any other kind of wind at the gubernatorial level in Massachusetts.

What Mitt means by claiming to be “severely conservative” (compare his present platform to some known politicians and you can see it’s not literally so) is that “OK, I feel the wind and this time it’s blowing rightward. Hard. Look I’m bending over backwards (or my best imitation of it) for you guys.”

0bama is simply one evil sonofabitch. A second term will prove that out.

Yes, but he political blow back will be powerful. Hopefully, the GOP will dissolve as a party after 2012. Let the RINOs go home to the RATs and let the Conservatives take over.

“Freedom is certainly messy. I like it.”

Now ain’t that the truth! : )

And furthermore, (and then I really am going to bed) the liberals don't get that. They're like little robots, all lined up waiting to hear what the Big Head tells them to think.

They've never been able to participate in the messy discourse of freedom because it absolutely horrifies them! The Alinsky rule they throw at us when we “misbehave”, ranting about morals and freedom is #3-Ridicule . Ridicule is all they have.

You have to have a functioning soul to understand the passion for freedom. And they are without functioning souls.

Goodnight.

“There remains the one standard that has not yet been universally used, namely, the choosing of candidates on moral grounds. A nation always gets the kind of politicians it deserves. When our moral standards are different, our legislation will be different. As long as the decent people refuse to believe that morality must manifest itself in every sphere of human activity, including the political, they will not meet the challenge of Marxism. Contemporary history proves that modern political leaders, devoid of a moral inspiration and relying solely on a mass basis (might makes right), proves ineffectual in time of crisis."

Say what you like.

Water, duck's back.

But I will continue to campaign against all liberals, and that includes Romney.

I can't vote for someone that is for abortion and homosexuals and government health care.

The Obama administration should thank the GOP for pushing another liberal with dirty tricks, badmouthing conservatives, and changing rules mid-game.
