That's what I've been wondering about for a while. We have Predators up looking for terrorists. When one of them notices a poppy crop, note the coordinates. Then send another Predator with a crop-dusting attachment to spray RoundUp on the field. After a while of spending time on a crop only to get it destroyed before harvest, maybe they'll give up.
Their NOT doing this makes me suspect somebody besides the obvious parties is making money off it.
That’s a perfectly reasonable approach. However, I’ll bet there’s more attention being paid to eradicating the Asian carp population in our fresh water systems. Not a terrible idea but they’re not nearly as intent upon our destruction as are jihadists in other parts of the world. I’m sick of waking up every day knowing that we buy their oil AND their heroin.
Perhaps a new student loan program would be appropriate. I’m sure the 0bama administration could come up with something.
