me?....I can prep all I want but the fact is my youngest dtr and her husband live near downtown Portland Ore in an apt...they are totally not "into" it and in lala land IMO....and my son and dil live in a safer area north of Seattle but not that far north....they don't have two sticks to rub together...they have two children...

and alot of my dearest relatives live back east.....

so what good does it do to go off the deep end preparing?....so we can live and everyone that we love starves or is attacked?

okay..I've got preps....garden,alcohol,etc etc....

but I am hoping and praying and begging that we can pull out of this high dive...because if we don't most of who I love will have no future, maybe not even a present..

I can buy extra rice and I can make my own wine....I can prepare for the zombies but how do I prepare for people who are more interested in getting the perfect conservative rather than getting a winning one?

How sure are you that Romney will win? We need an Open Convention to choose a winning Republican Nominee.

As I get older, I seem to be able to apply to my attitude toward family what Jesus said about it (that the body of believers is your family, not your blood relatives). It means I would be sad for them, but survival of those that make it here - and my fellow Christians here - would be a top priority.

Also, only about 10% of the reason we bought this place in 2008 was to prep for SHTF. It’s now about 80% though...

Hearing about the elections in Europe seals the deal. The only way out of this is austerity, but the people will not stand for it. So they voted out the austerity candidates and voted in the “tax the rich” candidates.

This is REALLY gonna leave a mark, and SOON.
