Please do a catholic ping.
Got a "group" and an "event" on face book. Making it happen.
Please keep in touch with me about this, Dawg. I mean, whatever you do, let me know. By Private Message if you want. I am weighing meeting with out Parks & Rec people here, but I need your good example to keep me going. Really.
I hope you will have the support of the Dominicans at the UVA campus parish. They are good men.
Thanks, everyone, stand up for religious freedom or we lose it altogether.

I've never done live radio before, so I was very nervous about this, but the program was well received and Steve Clark has asked me to come back for more.
Keep up the good work, everyone!
We've got to defeat this travesty.
First, yes the Dominicans are backing us strongly. Very strongly. And organizing the rally is being done by our the president of our chapter of Lay Dominicans and me.
Second, while I don’t have the permit in hand, I have paid for the insurance we have to get to indemnify the city for $1,000,000, and the director of Parks and Rec., Michelle Christian, has been friendly, helpful, and encouraging.
So with any luck I should have the permit by Wed or Thu. we plan to be at Jackson Park, which is right next to the Albemarle County General District Court. Unfortunately one has to park in garages a few blocks away.
The location isn’t as “all up in your grill” as the sidewalk by the Federal building, but we can have speakers and music and can spread out a little.
For tomorrow’s amusement I will be contacting politicians and members of other “faith communities” — to many of whom I have already given a heads-up.
These days I leave my computer at work. It seems better all the way around if I limit my on-line stuff.
Anyway: June 8, noon to 1:00, Jackson Park, Charlottesville. We’re making it happen.
Radio is fun, isn’t it? It’s really an intimate medium. Yes, you’re BROADcasting, but you’re talking to someone in his car or kitchen or living room, you’re not addressing a multitude all at once. So if the hist gives you time to explain you can talk in a personal way without being all smarmy. I like radio.
