Paul Ryan: Obama's 'Julia' website 'creepy' and 'demeaning'
The Hill ^ | May 4, 20112 | Justin Sink

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Friday that the Obama campaign's new website - which uses a fictionalized woman named Julia to illustrate how the president's policies help female voters - is "creepy" and "demeaning."

"It suggests that this woman can't go anywhere in life without Barack Obama's government-centered society. It's kind of demeaning to her," Ryan said during a constituent meeting in Wisconsin, the National Review reports. "She must have him and his big government to depend on to go anywhere in life. It doesn't say much about his faith in Julia."

Dubbed "The Life of Julia," the website follows a hypothetical character from age 3 to 67 and provides examples of when she might benefit from policies backed by the president - while suggesting that presumptive Republican candidate Mitt Romney would support policies that might have the opposite effect.

It is indeed disgusting -- there is no low to which Obama and the Dems won't sink.

that’s because the government “levels the playing field” for all women. According to the helpless twits, things are “unfair” and everyone “has it in for them” and will never give them a “fair shake” because of the patriarchal nature of western civilization.

Oh, if she’d keep her panties up, she might be taken more seriously, but that is way too much to ask. Because as you have been informed by the geniuses in Hollywood, people have a right to an exciting sex life, whether they are married or not.

The Obama slide show should be called, "Julia: Slavery for Dummies - How to go from Freedom to Slavery in One Generation"

Well, I didn’t create the title — but it’s actually web pages on Obama’s website. Check it out, you can go and find out how the government is handing out things to women at all ages — it’s full of lies.

Here is the link to the article from National Review with an excerpt:

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/299099/ryan-obama-s-julia-creepy-christian-schneider#

“Every one of those slides, I could go after their manipulation of statistics, and disentangle and unpack each of those talking points,” said Ryan. “It’s just the narrative that they’re trying to tell, that for this woman to succeed, she has to have a really big government.”

“It really shows the philosophical premise they operate from, which is - I think Romney coined it well - it’s a ‘government-centered society.’ You have to have government at every stage of your life to be there for you, otherwise, you’re going to fail. It’s promoting a cradle-to-grave welfare society,” said Ryan.

No husband. One child at 31. Has her own business but still needs to have Medicare and Social Security for retirement. Yes that sounds like Zero’s Marxist utopia.

All in all it seems like it’s another piece of Obamasterful harakiri. It points up the ridiculous endpoint of the gummit society.

What I find disgusting is that Baraq Hussein Obama, in the "Life of Julia" presentation, has occupied the Presidency for at least 64 of Julia's 67 years. That...and the fact that the only man in "Julia's" life appears to be none other than Baraq Hussein Obama.

Julia really needs to get out more...expand her horizons, and widen her circle of acquaintances.

Others have pointed out that Julia is the female (or is it "unmale"?) character in 1984. So are they going to come out with another one entitled "Winston"?

Not sure where they would go with that--they don't want to offend their feminist base by having a sympathetic male character. They could do one about a male who games the system (government worker in a union, or someone with a fake disability, or a member of a protected class) but they don't want the general public to know more about that than they already do.

Maybe the RNC could use the Winston name to do something to counter the Julia one, but they probably aren't clever enough to do so.

Obama campaign's new website - which uses a fictionalized woman named Julia to illustrate how the president's policies help female voters -

The irony is that there are already millions of real-life Julias out there soaking up the national wealth.
Obama did not invent them, every president of both parties enabled them, or thought it not important enough to oppose profligate congresses. Obama just made sure that there are several times the number that existed prior to his election.

Wouldn't it be useful to determine how many Julias and Julios already exist? And I'm sure they all vote.

I've written to the National Federation of Republican Women to tell them I think "I'm not Julia" bumper stickers and lapel pins would be great fund raisers.

I'd like to see them all over the place because I think it would make people who aren't paying attention curious and force them to ask which would keep the conversation going.

The Liberal Messiah believes all single women think of the federal government as their husband and so He expects those women to vote for their provider. I hope single women see through His paternalistic, condescending, sexist attitude.
