Contempt For Holder? Not a Wise Move(barf alert)

Republicans actually have a nice story to tell. The economy sucks. Anyone with a brain knows it is being floated with money printed by the Federal Reserve. The world economy sucks. Europe is going to go into a deep slow down. Italy, Spain, Greece and France will go off the cliff.

The economies of Britain and Germany will be on a hamster wheel. All their production and growth will go into a state of “just staying even”. They will be like traders that have a bad position, losing you money each day, but your day trading keeps you afloat.

It is painfully obvious to the casual observer that the attorney general Obama selected, Eric Holder, is nothing more than a political hack with some extreme biases. Fast and Furious is a horrible way to try and get back door gun legislation. Sort of a “by any means necessary”, version of politics.

But, instead of using him as a punching bag to defeat Obama, they may make him a martyr for the left to rally around. Holder definitely lied. But unlike the 1970's when the press helped House and Senate Democrats go after the Nixon administration, the mainstream press today will support Holder.

It is highly doubtful that there will be a Deep Throat in the Obama administration. Political machines don’t work that way. They sniff out potential Deep Throats and turn them into chumbalones. Textbook example, Rod Blagojevich. You need to be well versed in the ways of Chicago politics to understand how the White House works.

Theoretically, the House Republicans are correct. Holder ought to be held in contempt. It’s the politics and how it spins where they are over reaching.

Tom Delay screwed up back in the Clinton administration when he shut the government down, and they will be screwing up today because Holder and his followers will charge racism, and hold this instance up as some sort of lynching-which it’s not.

While now is the time to press your bets at the political casino, this isn’t the table that you should be doing it at.

If voters are dumb enough to give that liberal puke another term, they are buying the agenda of the RAT senate too.

Can you name a POTUS election year that voters reelected a POTUS, but voted out those in the same party?

Last I checked Senators were elected by state voters and not by national voters.

Is this what you base your 'guess' on?

Don't you have any state data to backup your 'guess'?

Does this guy not remember when Democrats indicted recently-resigned Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger in the June before the 1992 election that gave us Bill Clinton?

That's why the press is pressuring Republicans to not follow through on contempt charges against Holder. The press knows two things:

1. Contempt charges will force the MSM to have to cover the details of the charge, and not just slam Republicans without offering any context.

2. Republicans ALWAYS cave under Democrat/MSM pressure. Even now, Boehner is waffling on supporting the contempt charges.

So, the MSM will apply the pressure, and Republicans will cave, eventually.

“Last I checked Senators were elected by state voters and not by national voters.”

State voters elect POTUS and Senators the same day, often with a straight party vote.

RATS seldom split their ticket in POTUS election years.

State voters elect POTUS...

State voters elect delegates to their state's Electoral College. The Presidential Electors elect the President.

“State voters elect delegates to their state's Electoral College. The Presidential Electors elect the President.”

What will voters be voting for on their Nov ballot, delegates or POTUS ? Which of those will be listed on the ballot?

Sorry, too cute by half.

Laws differ by state. In some states, the line on the ballot will read "Electors pledged to Such-and-such a candidate". In other states the line on the ballot will read "Such-and-such a candidate". In the end it doesn't matter.

When you cast your vote for president, you are voting for Presidential Electors pledged to a specific candidate, not the actual candidate. It's just how it works. It's not cute at all.

Holder is no martyr he is a dirty cop as matter of fact he is the highest ranking dirty cop in the country .

The serving director of the BATFE over the 4th of July Holiday gave sworn testimony in secret with his own legal counsel when he was in fact scheduled to give testimony on the 16th of July with legal counsel from the Attorney Generals office .
The man knows that the current regime is involved before ,during & after the fact in the murders of over 250 Mexican nationals & 2 Federal LEO’s.

HE provided both e-mails & hard copy memos that prove that this mess goes to the White HOuse . It is about a murderous corrupt DoJ that is need of a house cleaning that will make one of Joseph Stalin’s legendary purges look like a bunch of Sunday school kindergartners singing Jesus loves Me.

This nation cannot accept having such a corrupt & incompetent DoJ.

Well, that's obvious. But he may be portrayed as one by the left...that's the danger.

I really don't want Holder's face plastered across my TV screen as some victim of racism thank you very much.

Republicans have controlled the Senate in most every election in my lifetime and have only recently lost control of the Senate. The voters that have consistently voted for republicans have stayed home in formerly safe GOP states or they opted not to vote for a Senator.

This year persons who make it their life career to study political elections say that voters are finding Senate republican candidates more to their liking.

Rats may vote straight but it won’t matter. Those states that were wrestled away from republican control will be go back in the R column because the pickings are better.

Republicans will win the Senate, Obama will win the presidency.

The author is saying that political expediency is more important than the rule of law ie the Constitution. That political calculations are more important than the lives of two Federal agents and more than 300 Mexican citizens. That the future of the GOP is more important than the lives of future victims, both American and Mexican, of the F&F program. That is kind of a sociopathic way of looking at things.
