Are you an ABO like me PO'd at JR for getting called a RINO? Truce declared! Please DONATE!;page=1#1 ^ | May 6, 2012 | Seizethecarp

Posted on 05/06/2012 8:09:35 AM PDT by Seizethecarp

Attention "Anyone But Obama" (ABO) FReepers! If you go to the thread at the link you will will see that JimRob has "declared a truce" and hundreds of ABO FReepers are now vigorously defending their belief, which I share, that the ineligible Marxist Manchurian MUST BE DEFEATED to preserve the Republic...without fear of "the ZOT"! Please consider a DONATION not just to fund renewal of expression and amplification of your ABO views, but let's over-achieve this FReepathon to get JR his new equipment!

IMO, Free Republic and FReepers could be vital in swing states in rallying just enough conservatives to tip the election and prevent our troops from having to salute for even one day longer than necessary an ineligible Marxist committed to destroying the USA !

Those are issues raised to justify the Thirty Years War. In the end all the parties to the war agreed they'd never again be used as a cause of war against another state.

The Pope signed on.

Sometimes I think we should have all the groups left out sign on to the same principles ~ Orthodoxy, Judaism, Islam, Mormons, Unitarian-Universalists, and maybe the Hindus and Buddhists.

You should check into what is called The Peace of Westphalia. Great series of treaties.

The actual historical situation was ‘Anyone but Ernst Rohm. Vote Adolf Hitler.’

Islam is a theocracy. There is no compartmentalization of politics, law, family life, and religion. In truth Christians are supposed to be Christians in all areas of their life too, but many have been secularized to believe they can be Christian on Sunday or when saying evening prayers, but live secular at work and at play, and when they vote, the rest of the time. Jesus is Lord in all areas of your life, at all times. Does it mean we want a theocracy? No but we want a government that respects Christianity like our Founders had. We know when Christ comes back He will establish His rule over all, and THAT will be technically what we call a theocracy. Just in His case it will be a perfect one.

I think we need to hide and watch, see what Sarah, Newt, Rick, Rick and Michelle intend to do.

There’s a plan... you can tell as they are being very, very quiet. They nominally ‘endorsed’ the bishop to keep the Democrat Media Complex bored with this and out of the bishop’s butt until whatever they have planned happens.

True. Then when the issue was raised, I subsided for the sake of courtesy to the OP.

Irritable tonight?

Sorry but every year they said they were working on it.

My kids finally convinced me my computer was a peice of junk so I went out and spent ALL my money on a new computer and I find out it is FreeRepublics fault. This is the ONLY site that takes forever to load. My kids were wrong. There was nothing wrong with my old computer. Now ALL my extra money is gone.

I don’t get the point of your complaint.

Being called a satanist isn’t regarded as bad if you actually are one. If you are called one but aren’t one, that’s a legitimate complaint and I am with you there.

If you are a satanist but didn’t want to be known in public as one, that’s your own personal problem.

If others can see that you are one by what you say you believe, observe and do, but you still personally don’t think you are, that’s called “being in denial”.

BTW, taking a good cold look at the whole picture it seems to me that folks in Virginia are in a position to put the victory into Republican or Democrat hands and without respect to any outside interests.

I"ve been thinking of what it is that we want that the parties can provide that would be a winning campaign theme.

Can they buy us with more government buildings? HMm! Always a good ploy. They should try it. But more likely its going to be something more personal ~ like maybe pulling the plug on Virginia's Bourbon Faction that currently controls the state and the main factions in the Republican Party?

That's something both the National Republicans and the Democrats could do with adroit use of criminal prosecution on just all sorts of things.

BTW, that would NOT affect Conservatism in Virginia nor would it endanger the TEAParty. Both factions have been written out of the picture by the more classical Bourbon Faction (Governor, Lt. Governor, etc.)

The whole election can be swung by the winner in Virginia, but he'll have to be bold.

the $50.00 copay was because of a MA state law that all government subsidized health care had to cover abortions.

What would the common name for the MA state law you are referencing?

It wouldn't be Romneycare, would it?

you are just fine with the idea that Obama will be better for the next four years

That's the exact same quote another poster wrote and just evidences and raises suspecions there is an underlying group here set to see Romney "their guy" as President....and it has nothing to do with conservatism.

I did not say Obama would be better...using a well worn tactic to imply that I do is deceptive....I said they are both bad, evil, whatever you choose to call it...they 're bad for this country. I am voting against them 'both'....I will not consent to either agenda, nor support, nor promote either Romney or Obama.... That is my right and oppose them and their agenda's for this country.

Read and learn: ......"The Declaration of Independence talks about the Government receiving it's just powers ...From The CONSENT 'of the people' (individuals) describes the powers which by 'we transfer' a portion of our natural rights to the government....we each give away some of our freedom, some of our individual sovereignty, and thus give the government it's "authority" to govern.

It's suppose to be consensual and voluntary,... that's why government can weld these powers which the individual is at 'liberty' to give to the government.

Furthermore.... The Constitution binds the people to the government but...Just as the states have a right to leave a union which violates the constitution that binds them,... So too do we have the moral right to leave a government when it breaks it's own laws.

I do Not "Freely Consent to this madness we have before us now. I will not vote for either Romney nor Obama, nor support either agenda... which oppose in every way the founding fathers, our constitutional agreements, and the moral laws in which I abide by.

You are part of one of those "groups" though. I know!

In fact I remember when I had to debate all of you regarding Perri Caliente's views regarding Mexicans vs. Americans.

It was like none of you had ever had that one tossed at you ~ oh my goodness. At the time I think you thought I was a Mittbot.

Turned out I was right, you were wrong ~ wasn't Perri's year. He can come back later but it'd be best to not schedule back surgery just before the campaign.

Does this mean the Mods will control those who go around screaming "EVIL MITTBOT!" to everyone who says they will reluctantly will vote for him just because they understand that Obama has GOT to go for the country to survive??

It's really tiring to have so many good conservative people being lied about and attacked over and over and over and over again with absolutely no repercussions.

Just today, I saw a post where the poster called anyone who did not vote for Romney a traitor.

This is an internet forum, after all, and posters will often say things they would never say to someones face.

It's staring to sound like many of the Romney supporters will not be satisfied with the "truce" unless voices opposing Romney are squelched.

The whole election can be swung by the winner in Virginia

Indeed, here in Northern Virginia I am expecting 24/7 campaign ads to begin soon enough. Last poll I saw had Obama up 7 or 8, and unfortunately that is believable as this state has definitely changed for the worse (particularly my part of it). So many people moving to Virginia from liberal states to find work, unfortunately they don't change their voting patterns and continue casting ballots for the same Democrat politicians that forced them to move in the first place. I sometimes ask if it has ever occurred to them that the liberal policies they've been supporting are the cause of the problem, in return I usually get a blank stare. It's clear that most Democrat voters simply never put 2 and 2 together. These leftists are like locusts!

But there are no absolutes when it comes to religion because frankly, it is not logical, so in honesty, it can not be debated, logicaly.

Are you sure? Is not the statement that there are no absolutes an absolute statement in and of itself?

If it's true that there are no absolutes, then your statement is included in that so your statement by default is not an absolute.

If you expect us to take your statement that there are no absolutes as true, then it is a false statement because you are expecting us to believe that your statement is an absolute.

There are absolutes because there is a God who established them. And the big one is that there is salvation in no other name under heaven but that of Jesus Christ.

If you don't like that. take it up with God. Those who simply point out what God said are not responsible for the content.

"Anyone but Hitler. Vote Mussolini."

"That’s pretty much what we’re likely to end up with unless (fingers crossed) something marvellous and wonderful happens at the convention."

Anything's possible.

The topic WAS Benito Mussolini.
