'Julia': Cradle to grave under Obama rule
washington times ^ | 5-4-12 | Rich Lowry

Posted on 05/06/2012 11:41:14 AM PDT by TurboZamboni

In the competition for the creepiest campaign material of 2012, we may already have a winner. It is “The Life of Julia,” the Obama reelection team’s cartoon chronicle of a fictional woman who is dependent on government at every step of her life. …

The Obama campaign revives the concept of “cradle to grave” as it highlights Obama-supported programs that take care of Julia from age 3 to her retirement at age 67.

Unbelievable that something like this is a “sales point” in a political career.

There isn't any subtlety's or nuance to this, from cradle to grave, politicians buy votes with promising ever more entitlements.

This is really Orwellian. “Surrender to the state, we will care for you.”

Julia is a ward of the state.. Obama’s theme is For Ward. So what’s the surprise?

I think that it has been pointed out before here that there is a good chance that “Julia” would not make it to childbirth because of the abortion policies of pres Zer0.

Just saw it this a.m. Have never seen a creepier, scarier thing in my LIFE.

And what happens if Julie veers off the “path” and refuses to take advantage of everything provided to her by our Dear Leader? It is the gulags for Julia? What if she decides to worship something or someone other than Obama?

Ugh.

If Julia’s Dad had A JOB, Julia wouldn’t need the Husband of the State, would she?

More like the “Life of Olga” in communist Russia. Poor education with communist indoctrination, live in a small apartment within a concrete jungle in the inner city, get crappy health care from doctors abroad who don't care and don't speak English well, price controls so you wait in line for a loaf of bread, nice government job stamping papers or watching a surveillance monitor, retire with a government pension just at poverty level, rationed health-care and the government will pay for your cremation or resomation. I'll pass.

What does Julia contribute in her lifetime?
How does she help pay for all the other Julias out there?
Or does that all come from magical rich people?

Good point.

I used to think that Julia should have named her kid "Trayvon", but "Ward" works out so much better!

Blatantly encouraging the entitlement mentality that is central to the Obamanation and the progressives’ bid to perpetuate their power.

That was great sarcasm. Best served with a bit of truth and this has that.
