Attorney in hijab defends call for other women at 9/11 hearing to wear 'appropriate' clothing

The defense attorney who wore a traditional Islamic outfit during the rowdy arraignment of the accused Sept. 11 terrorists is defending her courtroom appeal that other women in the room wear more "appropriate" clothing to the proceedings -- out of respect for her client's Muslim beliefs.

Cheryl Bormann, counsel for defendant Walid bin Attash, attended the arraignment Saturday dressed in a hijab, apparently because her client insisted on it. She further requested that the court order other women to follow that example so that the defendants do not have to avert their eyes "for fear of committing a sin under their faith."

>>> "The judge should offer him a blindfold that he could wear in court."<<<

Great idea with the blindfold. Then, they could just lead him outside and stand him against a wall, offer him a cigarette, and BANG.

JUDGE: "Court is now dismissed".

“”If because of someone’s religious beliefs, they can’t focus when somebody in the courtroom is dressed in a particular way, I feel it is incumbent upon myself as a counsel to point that out and ask for some consideration from the prosecution,” she said....”

Were the defendant an equally socially conservative Christian, do we need to ask if she would offer the same consideration? Somehow, I strongly doubt it and on that point we must surely see that something else it at work, maybe even a form of subservience to a pagan religion that has a strange attraction on this foolish woman. I say foolish because of taquiyya and other Islamic doctrines that have the effect of fully taking advantage of any weakness of the characters of those who have not accepted its demand to become a believer.

If I were the opposing attorney I would tell the Judge that this was going to be a long trial because I would appeal such an order all the way to the Supreme Court. Oh, ever so politely, though.

She said that on Saturday, "somebody" was also dressed "in a way that was not in keeping with my client's religious beliefs."

It is because of her client's religious beliefs that they are on trial-- because of what those beliefs led them to do.

It is because of her client's religious beliefs that two wars were subsequently fought.

It is because of her client's religious beliefs that women have been subjugated for centuries.

If this lawyer had any principles at all, she would go into conference wearing lingerie and spread with bacon grease.

I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure ‘hijab’ is Towelhead for thong bikini.

One supposes from this that the prosecutors at the Nuremberg trials should have worn nazi uniforms too.

Get out of that hajib...and to hell with the desires of her clients....this is one more effort by them to manipulate the court..the judge should order her into appropriate western wear ( unless she herself is a muzzie) and put a stop to the high jinks of these terrorists.

When was the Muslim treatment of women considered appropriate? Muslims hate women and use them for their degenerate sexual perversions. In fact, a woman is only useful to bear sons. Other than than, any animal or boy will do.

This is all playing out just the way Eric Holder and Hussein O planned it. I bet they are laughing themselves silly after snorting their cocaine.
