He may as well be imposing one group of people to fund the buying of votes for him, from another group.

Confiscation of wealth and consolidation of power.

An Obama 2-fer.

It amazes me that the entire congress stands idle and no one has the courage to speak out about the behavior of this man.

There doesn’t seem to be a choice. The only way to stop this madness is to stop funding them. I wonder if there is a way to place taxes into an escrow account, then release them as soon as the government abides by the constitution?

Does any member of the U. S. congress have any idea when they lost control of our government? How can an atrocity like this happen among intelligent people delegated to govern our political affairs?

The IRS is taxing the Social Security benefits (thanks to Bill Clinton) of millions of Americans, and yet they are giving billions away to illegal Mexicans to be funneled into the Mexican economy.

Congress did not intend for this to happen, and the IRS knows it, yet they let it happen and continue to turn a blind eye to this insane and criminal practice. Why? Because the bureaucrats are Democrats, and they want to buy as many votes as possible for Obama—illegal immigrants or whomever.

The feds are now granting Vietnam vets that never came in contact with Agent Orange medical benefits (like $2860/month tax free for the rest of their lives—then the wife will be eligible for half that amount until she dies). I recently learned of one such navy vet that the closest that he ever got to the jungles of Vietnam was five nights in a air conditioned hotel in Saigon while waiting to be transferred to his ship off the coast of Vietnam. He gets the $2860/month. More vote buying by the Obama bunch. This man had tried to get AG benefits while Bush was president, but was turned down every time. Not so with Hope and Change.

It is not a loophole, the returns are fradulent. To call it a loophole makes it the fault of Congress; to recognize it as an executive branch give-away through failure to enforce shows it to be the fault of Obama.

No, they did not, not like that. Non-resident children are not eligible to be claimed for the credit, period. This is outright fraud being winked at by the government.

Y’all are being too mean to Maobama. After all, he needs to pay off his voterbase to ensure his re-election so we can get more “hope and change” or is that “hope to keep some of our change.” ;)

I wrote to my Senator (Scott Brown)

http://www.wthr.com/video?clipId=7054149&autostart=true

4.2 Billion dollars given to undocumented and/or illegal immigrants for children that do not even live in this country. Nieces and Nephews are being added as a child tax credit which is milking our system. Please view the video and please find someone to address this ASAP. I have 3 children all still living at home either in High school and college and I am not allowed to use a child tax credit on them any longer since they are all over 17. This to me seems very unfair that these people don’t even live in this country and they are taking advantage of our country. I am extremely upset over this!

Please everyone - write to your congress critters even if it doesn’t help. We need to take action on every atrocity that we know about!

This is one reason I'm nearly convinced Obama is going to win. Between this obvious vote buying, voter fraud and other illegalities, which no one will do anything about, Romney's popular vote margin will have to be at least 7-10% over Obama's in order to win and overcome the cheating. I just don't see Romney being able to get that number of votes above Obama.

if you can ... withdraw. pull your chips from the table. don’t give them any of your money

how? stop working, cash out of the market, and convert a good chunk to physical (gold). from there, look to continue at a minimal level... giving them nothing, or as little as possible

It’s going to take a full blown tax revolt in this country to stop all of this.

It would entail millions of us REFUSING to file an income tax return and REFUSING to send the IRS another dime on Apr 15th. Maximize the amount of deductions one can take from paychecks.

Until we stop giving them our money they will continue to have us as their slaves.

Especially, when it comes to milquetoast more interested in keeping their positions than puting it on the line and fighting for what is right.
That and they’re affraid Rachael Madcow or Srt Schultz might make fun of them on MSLSD...?

According to IRS, they are eligible: Under Nationality it says you have to be a resident of US, CANADA OR MEXICO..it also talks about relationship and guess what, descendant like niece or nephew qualifies.

From IRS website:

The Working Families Tax Relief Act of 2004 set a uniform definition of a qualifying child, beginning for Tax Year 2005. This standard definition applies to all five of the tax benefits noted above, with each benefit having some additional rules.

In general, to be a taxpayer’s qualifying child, a person must satisfy four tests:

Relationship — the taxpayer’s child or stepchild (whether by blood or adoption), foster child, sibling or stepsibling, or a descendant of one of these.

Residence — has the same principal residence as the taxpayer for more than half the tax year. Exceptions apply, in certain cases, for children of divorced or separated parents, kidnapped children, temporary absences, and for children who were born or died during the year.

Age — must be under the age of 19 at the end of the tax year, or under the age of 24 if a full-time student for at least five months of the year, or be permanently and totally disabled at any time during the year.

Support — did not provide more than one-half of his/her own support for the year.
Additional Rules
While the four qualifying child tests generally apply for the five tax benefits noted above, there are some additions or variations for particular provisions:

Dependent — a qualifying child must also meet these tests:

Nationality — be a U.S. citizen or national, or a resident of the U.S., Canada or Mexico. There is an exception for certain adopted children.

Marital status — if married, did not file a joint return for that year, unless the return is filed only as a claim for refund and no tax liability would exist for either spouse if they had filed separate returns.

Only works if there are no payroll tax deductions. Although payroll deductions were supposed to stop after
WWII, they were again renewed not long ago.

Maximizing deductions can help, but if no return if filed,
they just keep what has been payroll deducted.

Punishing America is part of the plan.

The IRS agent said this has been going on for several years ...but didn't say how many.

No, read further into the publications. Pub 17 page 231 outlines the requirements to qualify for the Child Tax Credit (including the refundable portion, the Additional CTC). Not only must the child reside with the taxpayer for more than half the year but they must be a US Citizen, US National, or resident of the United States. A kid back in Mexico who has never set foot in the US of A IS INELIGIBLE. period.

Congress Opts to Continue Giving Tax Dollars to Illegal Aliens

During closed-door negotiations last week, House and Senate leaders stripped a key provision from the payroll tax cut bill that would have prevented illegal aliens from qualifying for the additional child tax credit (ACTC). Leaders caved on the language in spite of an U.S. Inspector General report revealing that illegal aliens received $4.2 billion in refundable tax credits in 2010, primarily through the ACTC. (See TIGTA Report 2011-41-061, July 7, 2011;

The provision members struck from the bill – similar to legislation introduced by Rep. Sam Johnson (R-TX), Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA), and Senator David Vitter (R-LA) – would close this tax credit loophole by requiring that individuals who claim the ACTC provide a valid Social Security Number (SSN). Currently, the IRS only requires applicants for the ACTC to provide an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), which the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) indiscriminately hands out to illegal aliens.
