Can anyone explain this to me? Is it possible that the Paulbots could really manipulate the delegate system to the extent that they overturn the results of primaries?

I think the Paulbots are more tenacious than Paul himself. They’ll still be trying to get him elected 10 years after he passes away.
I am no “EXPERT” ;-)
BUT...that being said...I have seen in my home state, and heard from RABID Paulites that also happen to be friends of mine (I know...strange,,,but we can seem to separate friendship and politics ;-) ANYWAY...I am told that they are stacking the deck in caucuses on the local level, so they can be elected to the state conventions...they keep their PAUL affiliation close to the chest in these caucuses and conventions, THEN sign up to be elected or appointed delegates.... My local convention and caucus was PACKED with “new faces” and when i read the results of the delegate elections..there were at least 2/3 “new” names and many MANY long time delegates were voted OUT. Only after the elections, did you see the “RuPaul pins comeout...I KNOW they are planning-under the radar_ to do this on a national level to at a minimum, get a prime time speech from Ron Paul at the convention, and at best, to have him be the nominee...I think we should all be watching the news we are NOT reading about.to wit...Not much of any news on the Ron Paul campaign anywhere for weeks! Things that make ya go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
And as for you, Clint....I am no expert...you see...by definition an EX is a has-been and a SPERT is a drip under pressure...so I will leave the “Expert” tag to Liberals ;-)
Are they doing this in every state or have they set their sites on specific states?
I have no personal information on this, only my own speculation...these Paulites are a tenacious bunch, and VERY organized! I am guessing they have National plans well underway...but that is merely my opinion.

I’m not sure I even understand how the delegate process works. My assumption has always been that a vote in the primary for a certain candidate means that a certain number of delegates are committed to that candidate. But I guess that depends on the particular state’s rules.
I saw a lot of odd names on the ballot for delegate this year (in PA). I was trying to be prepared, so I googled each name in advance to try to see if they were mentioned or endorsed on the RuPaul forums, so that I could avoid them. I even voted for one guy because I knew he was a RINO (I know . . . ) but at least could be sure he wasn’t a Paulestinian in disguise.
In any case, the vote for delegates is a crapshoot because in most cases voters have never heard of anyone on the ballot.
