A woman who is eight-months pregnant with her sixteenth child is claiming police brutality after she says Tampa officers used a stun gun on her.
Tampa police arrested Angel Adams, 39, this week and charged her with battery on a law enforcement officer after a scuffle when police came to her home to talk to one of her sons. She says the stun gun endangered her life -- and the life of her unborn child.
Adams, 39, first made headlines two years ago when she was evicted from her apartment, then moved into a small motel room with 12 of her 15 children. Her story angered many when she angrily demanded, "Somebody needs to pay for all of this."

The taser was supposed to be a less-dangerous alternative to shooting or a beatdown when police found themselves under attack. It ain’t perfect, but it beats the beatdown hands down, so to speak. Was the cop supposed to just let himself get pummeled by this expectant but unruly “lady”?

Too bad this woman can’t be sterilized.... I mean 16 kids and she claims to be all of 39....She can’t afford any fof them and wants to pay for all of them and more.....words elude me

Look I am not saying what she did is correct and she is certainly no angel but I don’t want to see her unborn harmed!
I am sure they can find some burly female officer, like “Frau” from Austin Powers to subdue her without using a stun gun!

Oh shes correct someone does need to pay. All of the baby’s daddy’s when they get out of jail. I believe in one article the last baby daddy is in the big house.
Something tells me the beatdowns of old were worse. If anything about the taser, maybe its seeming harmlessness makes it easier to countenance bringing it out than bringing out the head bopping batons.
Any cop of either gender and any size who can't deal with this kind of situation without drawing a weapon doesn't belong on the force.
Instead, she's getting in fights with cops.

You assume the cop is telling the truth? I don’t make that assumption anymore. However, it would be hard to beleive the welfare queen as well. I have read other stories of cops abusing families, killing dogs, etc. when a suspect they are after runs home.
They should not have rewarded her insanity by giving her that house and leaving those kids in her care. With that many children and an insane mom, we are going to be hearing a lot of trouble out of that family.
