Obama's Conn. Social Security Number hits Rush
WND ^ | 5/7/2012 | Joe Kovacs

Posted on 05/07/2012 12:42:10 PM PDT by GregNH

Rush Limbaugh, the nation’s top-rated radio talk-show host, briefly brought up the issue of Barack Obama’s potentially criminal use of a Connecticut-based Social Security Number, since the president has never lived in the Constitution State.

While speaking with a caller named Rob about Obama’s alleged deception of citizens, Limbaugh tossed out the question: “What are your thoughts on the fact Obama’s Social Security Number is from Connecticut and he’s never been there?”

Rob responded, “That’s what you call a red flag. A red flag is also, ‘First of all, I don’t need to give you my birth certificate,’ and then finally, ‘I’ll give you a copy,’ Oh, that’s a modern copy … We don’t need copies, we need originals.”

Rob continued, “How about releasing all of your college papers and let’s see what you really thought about America when you were in college? He’s deceiving us.”

“That’s true,” said Limbaugh. “They don’t want [us] to see what those term papers, doctoral theses and so forth actually were about, nor do they want us to see the grades. They don’t want us to see the grades.”

He did. IT was obvious he was looking at FR the night before his broadcast and using material from FR. I remember one time hearing him say something almost word for word from one of my own comments on FR. But, I don’t think this is the case anymore.

RL could have addressed it all in 2007 as Cashill did. He didn’t. I have listened since 1988, but NO MORE! His big concern is the NFL while America crumbles under his Billion dollar microphone. He’s fluked it!

if being born on the soil is the only qualification for a term in common use world wide at the time of the signing... then what’s the difference between a person born in the country of 2 foriegn parents and a natural born citizen?

the fact is, the term means someone is a citizen naturally ... as there are no alternatives.

it’s that simple

and a supreme court case did reference the definition of natural born citizen in minor v happersett (1874)

So a mistyped zip code resulted in a SS security card with the assignement of a CT number that was then sent to Hawaii? Hard to believe that the zip code is that controlling compared to the actual application for the number and the address of the person requesting it. This explanation sounds like something Obama would offer.

An amazing anecdote. I wonder why I don’t remember any of that.

The BC and the SSN are too easy to propagandize. The MSM can laugh them off, brush them aside as the stuff of conspiracy kooks. Most of the publik will buy that.

They can't do that with his college records. They can't say, on the one hand, he's such a brilliant guy, but on the other hand, you can't see his grades and term papers, just take our word for it, he's brilliant. Anyone with two brain cells left can see it doesn't wash. Especially for someone who can't go off-teleprompter without going into "uh, uh, uh, aaaaaaand, uh, uh, uh" mode.

The other day I watched an 18-minute speech from Anita Moncrief, former ACORN heavy, now Tea Partier. Now, that's what I call a speech. She unloads a ton of information in 18 minutes, no notes, no teleprompter, and nary an "uh".

For a while there I was certain Rush used FR for show prep.

I recall one time posting a very clever remark and hearing Rush use the exact same remark on his program either that day or the next. Somone else here commented on it.

This is settled fact. There are many threads on it and I believe either BP2 or Brown Deer extracted his SS number from his 2009 tax return.

Social Security Numbers
The SSN Numbering Scheme

Number Has Three Parts

The nine-digit SSN is composed of three parts:

•The first set of three digits is called the Area Number
•The second set of two digits is called the Group Number
•The final set of four digits is the Serial Number
Area Number

The Area Number is assigned by the geographical region. Prior to 1972, cards were issued in local Social Security offices around the country and the Area Number represented the State in which the card was issued. This did not necessarily have to be the State where the applicant lived, since a person could apply for their card in any Social Security office. Since 1972, when SSA began assigning SSNs and issuing cards centrally from Baltimore, the area number assigned has been based on the ZIP code in the mailing address provided on the application for the original Social Security card. The applicant’s mailing address does not have to be the same as their place of residence. Thus, the Area Number does not necessarily represent the State of residence of the applicant, either prior to 1972 or since.

Generally, numbers were assigned beginning in the northeast and moving westward. So people on the east coast have the lowest numbers and those on the west coast have the highest numbers.

Note: One should not make too much of the “geographical code.” It is not meant to be any kind of useable geographical information. The numbering scheme was designed in 1936 (before computers) to make it easier for SSA to store the applications in our files in Baltimore since the files were organized by regions as well as alphabetically. It was really just a bookkeeping device for our own internal use and was never intended to be anything more than that.

Yes, and the Bill Ayers who sleeps over in the White Hut is just another Bill Ayers.

It’s “preposterous” (Carny’s favorite derision) to think otherwise.

“One should not make too much of the “geographical code.””

Yes, especially since they JUST did away with using it!

Nothing to see here!

I wonder why I don’t remember any of that.

If you figure out the answer to that, maybe it would also help explain why the heck I can't remember her screenname. She used to post on the Rush LIVE threads back in the day, keeping a mostly quiet profile. During the height of the bazillion Rush/drug threads being posted, she got real active for a brief spell trying to post replies on a lot of them. I used to keep an eye out for her screenname to see if she ever came back. But, after a time, I could no longer remember it.

I meant may not have been fraudulent if he was an Indo. citizen; of course he’s a fraudulent president in about a dozen ways.

They want to keep the bc a rodeo clown also to minimize the seriousness of the fact that both were forgeries. It is a big deal to them, because every single “fact” of his life is a lie.

Sorry, but it has never been resolved by the courts. Tribe and Olson are considered to be Constitutional scholars and both have been mentioned for possible future Justices on SCOTUS. They came to their own conclusion at the request of the Senate, which then issued a resolution stating that McCain was eligible.

How do I know it is not settled law? There is a guy in the WH who was not born of US citizen parents and has a birth certificate issued by the state of Hawaii saying he was born there.

You and I can agrue what is the definition of natural born citizen as it applies to eligibility to be President under the Constitution, but we can't resolve it. Only the courts can do that and they have never been presented with this case.

I believe it has to be resolved sooner rather than later. We have 300,000 to 400,000 anchor babies being born each year in this country to illegal alien parents. The are American citizens by virtue of jus solis. They can get a passport, receive all the various benefits, and vote when they reach 18. We also have an immigrant population of 40 million in this country with about 15 million being green card holders, not citizens. What is the status of their children re being eligible to be President? The sooner we can get this resolved the better.

That's an interesting explanation. I wonder if Snopes used the zip code for obie's house in 1961 or as it is now in 2012. According to the Postal Service important historical dates, the ZIP Code and sectional center plan was (inconveniently) implemented in 1963

That is right off of the SSA website—word for word. It is my understanding that Obama was 16 when he received his SSN, which would make it after 1971.

If there is an edict out there that BC is off limits, and noticed Rush didn't address that, the SS number is not off limits. I think it is a better way to nail him anyway.

I think you underestimate the importance of Rush allowing a discussion of the Birth Certificate issue on his show. Millions of people who might know nothing of this controversy have now heard that just maybe there is an issue lurking concerning the legitimacy of the Obama Presidency.

And you are wrong in saying that Rush didn't address the BC issue. He challenged the caller with something like "Even Trump believes the BC is legit" but the more important fact is that he kept the discussion alive when he could have killed it dead, dead, dead. I view the SS issue as just some frosting on the BC cake.

Good for you Rush. You've made the Chicago gang a little bit more nervous than there were yesterday at this time.
