"As Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett enters the general election in his soon to be third statewide losing campaign, he will surely find that his record of raising taxes and promises to continue to do so will not resonate with voters," Blum said.

So is this an early defeat for labor when they can not even get elected their man in the primary?
Wisconsin Election Results ping
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
With 95% of the vote counted, Walker had nearly as many votes as all the Democrats combined in their primary.
I see these as very good signs for Walker.
I hope Walker wipes the floor with him.
With Barrett on record as saying he wants higher taxes, he has already placed himself at a disadvantage.
Meanwhile the unions are spending many, many million$ on what may be a lost cause.
Any WI FReepers know how Kleefisch and the GOP senators are faring out there?
Go Scott Walker!!
Hopefully there will be Pubs at the precincts keeping an eye out for voter fraud. I suspect Dane county padded votes over the State Supreme Court justice just enough to win. The error resulting in the conservatives keeping the majority will be on their minds as they pad the results this time and they will pump it up heavily to keep the advantage.
Unions are squandering dues and pension funds for elections. If they pull it off, the public will be screwed as Barrett will find away to divert money back at them. He will have plenty of democratic help to cover for Him as He does it.
I hope the unions lose and collapse.
Barret deliberately downplayed any union issues and focused his ads on slow job growth in the state. His major opponent, Kathleen Flak uh Falk, was the preferred candidate of the unions. Falk received a lot of out of state union money. And she made no bones that she was going to revoke Walker’s reforms concerning the unions. This win by Barrett was a defeat for Big Labor and shows the Dems are well aware that most Wisconsinites resent undue union influence. Wisconsinites know that the teachers got away with grand larceny for years while the state bled red ink. The unions will naturally support Barrett against Walker, but they’re licking their wounds today.
