think the attacks against Elizabeth Warren, who pretended to be an American Indian to advance her career, are wrong. To the contrary, she simply did what we all should be doing! She sabotaged America's racist affirmative action regime, or -- the term I prefer to call it -- America's affirmative apartheid.
She should be our role model. We should all do the same thing she did and proclaim ourselves members of whichever fashionable list of preferred "minorities" the racists administering affirmative apartheid happen to be promoting this week.
There are lots of ways we can do so. First, anthropologists believe that the human species originated on the African continent. So, by my reckoning, that makes us all African-Americans. Why can't we proclaim ourselves such on the "race identification forms" used for hiring and college admissions?
In addition, I have always had a special sense of repulsion at the Ivy League institutions implementing affirmative apartheid. Just consider this: until the 1960s, American Ivy League universities openly and unabashedly had quotas designed to keep out Jews. Until the 1960s they did not hide this and proudly admitted to the quotas. And then, a few years later, the very same institutions were again discriminating against Jews because Jews had been defined as part of the "white" ethnicity against which their affirmative apartheid programs were discriminating. Remember when the liberuhs used to pretend that affirmative action preferences were needed to compensate members of groups who had in the past been victims of discrimination? Well, Harvard and its sisters today proudly discriminate against the very same Jews against whom they proudly discriminated in the past and for which discriminative affirmative action is supposed to be the remedy.

I actually thought of saying on a job application once that I was part black. I was actually accused of it by a high school girlfriend when she found out my maternal grandmother’s middle name was Pearl. :-D
Did I mention that I’m 1/32nd Inuit? My great-great-great-great grampa mentioned this in his journal, which I’ve lost, but I remember seeing it as clear as yesterday.

I urged a young relative to list herself as Hispanic on her grad school application, in order to enhance her chances of acceptance. Let them prove otherwise. She declined, and as a result, has not gained acceptance anywhere.

my high schooler’s depraved school wanted me to fill out a form designating a race for him. I declined. They called. I told them I thought it was silly. They sent another form. I didn’t send it back. They called him to the office, took a look at him, and checked some box and it was done. So THEY defined him by his blond hair and skin color. DEPRAVED.

Steve is wrong here. Jews have not significantly been hurt by Affirmative Action. Sure some, like my mother, lost scholarships, but Jews are a large percentage at elite colleges. Any real decline has been due to the failure of Jews to have children. The real losers to affirmative action are not the upper middle class whites of all religions, but poor and lower middle class whites, especially those not from the coastal cosmopolitan centers.
