The Obama Record: In a campaign infomercial, the president suggests his late mother's health insurer denied her coverage in her cancer battle. It's a heart-breaking story. Only it's not true.
About midway through the slick 17-minute video, "The Road We've Traveled," narrator Tom Hanks explains that Obama made enacting his health care reforms a top priority because "he knew from experience the cost of waiting."
"He remembered the millions of families like his who feel the pressure of rising costs and the fear of being denied or dropped from coverage," Hanks says, as photos of Obama and his late mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, appear on the screen. Dunham died in 1995 after a bout with ovarian cancer.
Then the first lady chimes in about Dunham not having "good, consistent insurance," and the president himself adds that it "drained all her resources."
"That's a tough thing to deal with — watching your mother die of something that could have been prevented," Michelle Obama says. "I don't think he wants to see anyone go through that

If his mother were alive during Obamacare, she might be denied treatment. Some bureaucrat or a panel of bureaucrats will decide if and when you receive treatment. This notion that under so-called health reform, you will be able to walk into any medical facility and get the care you need is a lie. Sadly, Obama’s true believers deny this will be the case. Heaven help them if Obamacare moves forward and these believers suffer some catastrophic illness or injury.
Truth has a gentle way of always surfacing and being exposed.
I think it would be a far easier task to find the times Obama has told the truth (seldom) than recount the times he’s lied. Virtually everything he says is a lie. His whole life has been a lie. Of course, he’s not much different than any Dem pol, and the previous Dem president was also a master liar. But I doubt anyone has been as egregious a liar as Obama.

The initial lie was bad enough what with knowing that he was his mothers lawyer and all. But, retelling the lie after it has been exposed is just plain stupid.
