A majority of voters say President Obamas decision to come out in support of gay marriage will not sway their decision in the fall election.
According to a Gallup poll released on Friday, 60 percent of adults nationally said Obamas new position makes no difference, while 26 percent said it would make them less likely to vote for the president and 13 percent said it would make them more likely to.
The numbers are similar when broken down by party affiliation 65 percent of Democrats and 63 percent of independents said it made no difference, while nearly half of Republicans, 46 percent, said the same.

Allow me to be the first to say:
DUH!
Of course most people aren’t changing their votes.
Most people are committed leftists or conservatives. Gay Marriage is only going to affect a few mushy-middle types....hardly a majority.

The headline should read:
INDEPENDENTS BREAK 2:1 AGAINST OBAMA ON GAY MARRIAGE.
Now that’s real news, really supported by the numbers.

Nice spin. But what this poll really tells us is the statement in favor of gay marriage loses Obama votes.

The problem for Obama isn't the ones not changing their minds, it's the 23% Independents now “less likely”.

Fool on the Hill. Nice try to spin for obama. If 26% are less likely to vote for obama after his phoney gay marriage stance don’t you think most of those 26% were voting for obama before. Your an idiot. It cost him plenty.

Typical Democrat cheerleader headline. If the media was honest the headline should say Obama shows a net loss of 13 points on his Gay “marriage” stance.

I was working on the computer of a very religious black customer the day obammy announced his gay marriage stance. She was pissed. She even asked if she had to vote for him come November. I told her no.
