A new Survey USA Poll shows President Barack Obama only leading Gov. Mitt Romney by four-points in the very blue state of Oregon.
The new poll puts Obama ahead 47%-43% over Romney, in a state where Obama won in 2008 by 16%.
In a Survey USA Poll done in Oregon in mid-March 2012, Obama held an 11-point lead, 50%-39%.

Yikes! Clooney and the homosexuals may need to open their wallets a little wider!
MAny may vote for Romney but tell all they know they voted for Zero..
The voting booth is private..
If you look closer at the counties, Oregon is only blue between Portland and Salem. All of eastern and most of the southern counties are red. However, Oregon has to deal with the liberals in the more populated counties.
“MAny may vote for Romney but tell all they know they voted for Zero..

Of course the same wouldn’t happen here, however?
Obama will win Oregon, all those Occupy freaks live there, but I am shocked that it’s THIS close. I live in SoCal, which is just as bad and Obama was here last night and today, even here in SoCal people are sick of him. The traffic congestion here today was RIDICULOUS. Couldn’t wait for that cockroach to finally leave
I’m going to tell everyone I voted for Romney. Especially if he shocks me and rules from the right or even middle right.
Might want to stretch that another sixty five miles farther south and include Lane County and Eugene, with the University of Oregon there it is most definitely Far Left!!
Here’s another state where Obama is not as strong as he should be.
In trouble indeed.
Severin is right, it’s going to be a landslide.
Prepare for the manufactured riots and Marshall law.
This does not bode well for Obama at all, especially considering that his apparent challenger is a relatively weak candidate who does not yet have the nomination nor the full support of his party.
I know that many are saying that Obama has a billion dollars of other people's money to spend and that he will use that money to launch the most negative campaign in history against his opponent.
However, this is not 2008. Obama might be able to sling some mud around but he is much more vulnerable to negative campaigning than will be his opponent. I mean look at the latest attack against Romney. A "gay-bashing" incident from high school nearly a half century ago? Seriously? Is this all they can come up with for starters?
So I suppose Obama will next try the class-warfare angle. The Bain company and that now infamous photo of a young Romney with cash stuffed in his pockets. Well, I think that's going to bring back memories of the go-go 1980s - the Reagan Era. A lot of people who remember that decade would love to go back to those times. So attempts to attack Romney for being a successful capitalist are going to backfire badly.
I think the more Obama is seen the more disliked he is becoming.
Romney will make look like a dunce in the debates. People can say what they want about Romney but the guy is very bright and quick witted and will handle himself very well during the campaign.
Now, THAT says it all!
It was posted by a FReeper last night..said he made it, and encouraged all of us to use it.
Thanks for putting it up there..and what part of Texas are you from?

4 points. Did the poll oversample democrats based on previous voting results?
Well, no wonder 0bama’s out raising money. He’s going to need it for the defense team.
sweeeet.
I reserve the right to despise anybody I want, no matter their color or culture..
Is that racist?...
It's martial law.
Thursday, March 27, 2008 The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone poll in Oregon shows Barack Obama leading John McCain 48% to 42%
April 28, 2008 — RCP moves Oregon to toss-up.
In 2004 John Kerry defeated George W. Bush by a larger than expected margin of 4.16% in the state of Oregon. (Bush campained there in the closing days of the campaign, thinking he was ahead or close.)
Sep 24, 2008 — The recent polls are showing Barack Obama with a slight lead over John McCain in Oregon. The RealClearPolitics average shows Obama leading by 4.6%, or about what John Kerry won the state by in 2004.
(Don’t hold your breath.)
But you can leave out most of Salem, especially the smaller towns surrounding it. Conservative there, including me.
A trip in a time machine would be welcome by me!!!
I concur, the pent-up demand from these years of a political self-imposed “Twilight Zone” should lead to a boom not seen in decades.

Doesn’t sound racist to me.
“Might want to stretch that another sixty five miles farther south and include Lane County and Eugene, with the University of Oregon there it is most definitely Far Left!!”
Then, throw in Ashland and much/most of the Oregone coast north of Brookings. Ashaland and some of the north coastal areas of Oregone might make Portland look somewhat normal.

If you are a white, male, Christian, conservative.
Portland is a cesspool of one-party corruption as bad as Chicago.
As some one who grew up in Coos County, I strenuously object to defining north coast as north of Brookings. It also runs completely contrary to common sense.
Damn.....
Credit goes to icwhatudo. He made it.
I want a bumper sticker that says: Vote like your life depends on it...defeat Obama (care).
Or some such phrase.
That’s pretty good.I’d put that on my car.
I lived in Eugene for 31 years and other than on the local news, you can go for weeks without seeing a liberal.
It's not Romney that I'm concerned with, it's the Tea Party caucus in the Senate. If they gain strength, then they will set the agenda and Romney will follow suit.
Romney seems to me to be mostly a fiscal guy. That is what I am most concerned with now. I'm pulling for Rand Paul and those guys to save us.
This is not a “shock” and Oregon is rat leaning but not heavily rat. It’s really just outside of being a swing state.
4 points is exactly how much Kerry beat Bush by in the state. This election is gonna be more like 2004 than 2008 with it’s inflated rat numbers. Duh.
If Romney actually wins Oregon there’s no way he’s not winning easily nationwide, it would be cake.
