Just in time to pack your beach bag with some good summer reading, President Obamas aunt has penned a book sure to connect with a wide swath of Americans.
Zeituni Onyangos new memoir Tears of Abuse was released quietly in late March.
The Boston Heralds Howie Carr brought national attention to it Friday in a tongue-in-cheek column based on a fresh press release for the book. According to Carr, Onyangos book deals with her supposed victimization in America while living off the taxpayers dime.
Auntie Zeituni Onyango indentifies herself as an advocate for peace and a writer on her personal website. She is also known for being the Aunt of the 44th President of the United States, President Barack Obama, the website says. She is referred to as Aunti Zeituni in Obamas memoir Dreams from My Father.
Onyango moved from Kenya to the United States in 2000 but was rejected asylum status in 2002. She remained the country illegally, ignoring a 2004 removal order, and taking full advantage of subsidized public housing.
Obamas aunt was granted asylum in 2010. her illegal status gained public notice in 2008, just before Obamas election.
Selling for $19.99 (plus shipping and handling) Onyongos book is a story about her struggles through abuse in all forms.
Wonder if she is going to pay the government back for all the $$$ she took? The comments section has some priceless comments. I can't add much...I am too busy throwing up...
Geeze-I wonder if I can download this charmer on my Nook?-—/not
I wish they had a book store around here. I’d love to see who the braindead morons are who would buy this crap. A “book” by an illegal alien written about an illegal POTUS. Each one of these “books” should come with a bag of weed to help the reader get it down.
Ah, poor Zeituni abused by welfare, section eight and wealthy relatives in the White House.
Being an illegal alien on the public dole is ABUSE of the taxpayers.
She has been handed everything and its not enough I guess.
For some reason some people can never give up that idea that they are being picked on.
The Jiminy Cricket notion that the world owes them a living.
If she didn’t f’n like it here why didn’t she go back where she f’n came from.
The moron should have called this crap, "It Takes A Village To Make You Cry 96 Tears". It sounds a little more upbeat.
Wonder if BO sent Bill Ayers over there to write it for her?
Backward sentence construction!
Her illegal status gained public notice in 2008, just before Obamas election, but after his election, Obamas aunt was granted asylum in 2010 -- because he's so awesome he can do anything.
“A book by an illegal alien written about an illegal POTUS”
I think it’s a safe bet neither word/subject will appear in her book.
Alternate title.. Dreams from my nephew.
I wonder if she coughs up the solutions for unemployment and why the US is spending $1.5 trillion more than it takes in???
Auntie, if you don’t, STFU and the wildebeest that you rode in on!
Or because the immigration judge in question was..shall we say...made an offer that he/she dared not refuse.
My favorite el crappo Farfisa Combo organ solo!
Hey! I played a Farfisa Combo Compact Deluxe in a band back in the 60s! I couldn’t afford a Vox Continental. LOL!
Waaa! Waaaa! Call the wambulance! I’m a victim, he’s a victim, she’s a victim, we’re a victim, wouldn’t you like to be a victim too. Call it racism, call it discrimination, ... so tired of it, boohoo get over it as my mom and dad used to say.
Did anyone ask her how many composite characters were in her book?
