guess Alex Jones is still crazy?? He has been talking about this for months. Bend over and take it America. Don't be upset, this is all done in love and it is all for freedom! Everyone lets sing the Sean Hannity song together...let freedom ring, let the white dove sing...." I love freedom!

That settles it for me.
There were wars fought in this country over the right to peaceably travel from place to place within the international borders without interference from any highwaymen or government agents.

One of most visible and pernicious activities of a total police state is the restriction to travel.

Alex Jones is the proverbial blind pig who finds the occasional truffle. He discusses some newsworthy things, then in the next sentence will betray his kookiness with a completely outlandish and unsubstantiated theory reserved for the mentally disturbed, which makes him look like a fear mongering huckster. He is to be taken with a big grain of salt.

Obama and “Fat Janet” are pushing every button they can to try and cause “something”. Remember the TSA is now a union. How long before they start trying to export money from non-union drivers?

I knew this kind of crap would happen as soon as the TSA was created. The reason you don’t give your guy anything like the TSA (PATRIOT Act, Homeland Security) is because the next guy will use it against the people instead of the enemy.

Creeping totalitarianism. Start with truckers, then, random check on all vehicles. This will piss off everyone, the young, the poor, families on vacation. This is the ‘precautionary principle’ run amok. There is always an excuse for statists to expand government power in the name of security.

Does anyone know if the driver has the option to refuse the search? I wonder if they start stopping cars for the purpose of a search, if the driver of that car would have that right?
I know it would probably mean a lot of red tape, and possibly an arrest—but I’m wondering if it would be worth it in the long run if it happened to you....

In the old Soviet Union, one needed an “internal passport” to travel between cities. In Cuba, one needs permission from the local Committee for the Defense of the Revolution to travel from Havana to Camaguey. How far off is that scenario from where we are now?

If this is true I would think that that would be a clear violation of the 4th amendment. But then again the constitution is seen by so many as a “living and breathing” document now which means we no longer have a constitution. If your car is fair game why not your home?

Nachum, thanks for posting this. I posted it the other evening and thought it was truly frightening. The more people see this, the better.
I had a ‘Department of Homeland Security’ SUV slowly touring around my sleepy neighborhood a few weeks ago and the hair stood up on the back of my neck.

Another way to accomplish the same thing is to make gas cost $10 a gallon, or a car that travels 30 miles then must be recharged for 8 hours.

Our nation is overflowing with peoples who know not or outright despise our ways, and many of them aren't even interloping parasites... they are the homegrown brainwashed masses thanks to the pernicious teachers of all things unAmerican and utterly unrighteous: e.g. the NEA, MSM, politicians, and the Hollyweird depraved.

It’s getting to that point where people are just going to have to say “arrest me then”. Random searches on the roads would be antithetical to the whole intent of the constitution. Of course it is easy to say that when you are sitting at a keyboard. It’s like those studies done on crowds. When something bad happens everyone just watches. No one wants to be the first to act. But the authorities should read the part about what happens when the first person moves. Then everyone does once that threshold is crossed. I am not speaking of violence but just people refusing to comply.

Did see it and the soldiers walking in the background.
As soon as the first Command in a loud Command voice was heard, they would be right over at the site, and TSA would have mulitiple problems.
