Showing papers isn’t our way...

Our nation is overflowing with peoples who know not or outright despise our ways, and many of them aren't even interloping parasites... they are the homegrown brainwashed masses thanks to the pernicious teachers of all things unAmerican and utterly unrighteous: e.g. the NEA, MSM, politicians, and the Hollyweird depraved.

America needs a bath ala Isaiah 4.

Had a BP already try that and had him standing at attention along with his Sgt while I chewed his but. When I finished They stayed standing at attention giving me a highball & then waved me through.

Check out the video. Those kiddo TSA agents have never seen anything like you (or me, for that matter).

What you are saying is going to get you a beatdown or a burst of gunfire or both.

It’s getting to that point where people are just going to have to say “arrest me then”. Random searches on the roads would be antithetical to the whole intent of the constitution. Of course it is easy to say that when you are sitting at a keyboard. It’s like those studies done on crowds. When something bad happens everyone just watches. No one wants to be the first to act. But the authorities should read the part about what happens when the first person moves. Then everyone does once that threshold is crossed. I am not speaking of violence but just people refusing to comply.

The reason you don’t give your guy anything like the TSA (PATRIOT Act, Homeland Security) is because the next guy will use it against the people instead of the enemy.

precisely! and I'm still trying to figure out why he gave him a gigantic slush fund. was it so he'd hang himself?

Did see it and the soldiers walking in the background.

As soon as the first Command in a loud Command voice was heard, they would be right over at the site, and TSA would have mulitiple problems.

Ax: "In the old Soviet Union, one needed an “internal passport” to travel between cities."

Lazamataz: We are 98% Soviet Union now.

In old USSR one needed a passport (or a photo ID, issued by many employers and bearing minimal security features) to buy airplane or inter-city train tickets. I don't know what was the purpose of that since the ID was never checked against a database and tickets were sold to anyone. Probably that was a leftover from Stalin's times, where a citizen was essentially confined to his prescribed area for life and work. To compare, in the USA today a person needs an ID to buy alcohol or tobacco - that was not required in USSR. The internal passport was simply a standard ID that everyone had, an easy thing to ask for and to check. The USA is probably unique in the world in having no way for a citizen to prove that he is a citizen. It is not necessarily an advantage. Currently the USA uses SSN and driver's licenses as IDs, but they are not reliable (just look at the President if you can take the pain.) Canada, for example, issues citizen IDs (a plastic card.)

Travel as such in USSR was not restricted since Stalin died in 1953. Certain areas of economy actually depended on mobile workers. There were no searches on roads (except if the police was looking for an escaped criminal, I guess.) One could drive from the border with Poland all the way to Vladivostok, as long as your SUV can take it. There were no searches anywhere else, as matter of fact, unless a police officer is arresting you for a reason.

If this story is true then we are already less free than in the old USSR. The only freedom left so far that USSR couldn't match is the freedom to leave the country. But as we know the government is working on restricting that and making a passport into a privilege.

Also note that USSR's requirements for an "exit visa" were also supported by near impossibility for a common Soviet man to get an entry visa into any country that is worth visiting. This can happen to US citizens overnight - as soon as they are no longer welcome abroad.

Constitutional questions aside, do know that the TSA has been recruiting new, uhm, officers via ads on pizza boxes and gas pumps.

Just so you know the kind of highly trained and motivated government agent you will be meeting on the highway.

I remember a couple years ago when that clown that occupies the POTUS office was giving a speech as to why he was against the so-called “Arizona immigration law”. Obongo the clown was saying that it reminded him of nazi checkpoints where a family out for ice cream would be asked for their “papers”.
I guess this kind of thing does not bothers him after all.

Do not argue. Ask if you are arrested and on what charge. Most importantly, LEGAL SHIELD. On speed dial.

Full disclosure. I subscribe.

Not perfectly connected, but close enough..even though it is from a fictional television show...

Commander William Adama..Battle Star Gallactica

“There’s a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.”

What has triggered this, a sudden burst in terrorism or a sudden burst in Police Statism? The cure for this may be a sudden burst in revenue collection as states and cities go bankrupt.

All you have to say is: “Not without a warrant.” These clowns depend on a citizen not knowing their Constitutional Rights.

They had all said “yes” when asked “may we look in the trunk?”

Plenty of case law to back that a vehicle search may only be done by consent, or, abesent consent, through a warrant.

If you say “no” be prepared to hang around a while.
