New French pres Hollande, who claims to ‘dislike the rich’, has THREE homes on French Riviera

France's new Socialist president owns three holiday homes in the glamorous Riviera resort of Cannes, it emerged today.

The 57-year-old who 'dislikes the rich' and wants to revolutionise his country with high taxes and an onslaught against bankers is in fact hugely wealthy himself.

His assets were published today in the Official Journal, the gazette which contains verified information about France's government.

To the undoubted embarrassment to the most left-wing leader in Europe and a man who styles himself as 'Mr Normal', they are valued at almost £1million.

It will also reinforce accusations that Hollande is a 'Gauche Caviar', or 'Left-Wing Caviar' - the Gallic equivalent of a Champagne Socialist.

Among other assets are three current accounts in French banks - two with global giant Societe Generale and one with the Postal Bank - and a life insurance policy.

As well as the spacious Paris apartment he shares with his lover Valerie Trierweiler, Hollande owns a palatial villa in Mougins, the prestigious hill-top Cannes suburb where the artist Pablo Picasso used to live.

It is valued by the Official Journal at €800,000 (£642,000), and is just a short drive from Hollande's two flats in the Cannes. They are each priced at €230,000 (£185,000) and €140,000 (£112,000).

Hollande has promised to cut his pay by 30 per cent after he is officially sworn in as President next week, but he will still be on €156,000 (£125,000) a year, plus fabulous expenses and other perks.

You keep forgetting the cardinal rule: it’s OK if they do it.

Sounds familiar.

Obama told Wall Street fat cat donors behind closed doors that they will be trashed by him publicly but they will be well taken care of by his administration.

President Barack Obama told a gathering of Wall Street donors that Democrats can’t unilaterally stop accepting money from big-dollar political- action committees, according to two people at the event.

Obama told about 80 donors at a fundraising dinner in New York yesterday that he didn’t want to run for re-election at a disadvantage to Republicans, according to the people, who described the president’s comments on condition of anonymity because the event was private.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-03-01/obama-seeks-wall-street-campaign-money.html

EW YORK | Fri Mar 2, 2012 2:27am EST

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama returned to New York on Thursday for a series of high-end fundraising events, tapping Wall Street donors whose generosity has been strained by U.S. financial reforms that many bankers oppose.

Typical socialist ... attack the rich while enjoying all the perks. Where have we seen this recently? Oh yes ... the current residents of the White House.

Appointment: President-elect Francois Hollande has said he will make his ex-wife Segolene Royal the most powerful woman in France.

Only in France! New President-elect makes his bitter ex and mother of his four children country's most powerful woman (while still refusing to wed the 'First Partner')

Of course they say that. Dupes the proles in public, but behind the scenes they pull the bait-and-switch and crony up.

The USSR had the same situation - party members had the limos and Black Sea vacations, while the average Joe & Jane took the trolley and ate beets, potatoes and cabbage.

The French are almost as much of a bunch of dumbasses as we are. This filthy, scummy socialist is no different than the filthy, scummy socialist we voted in. And these 2 worthless socialists are no different than the socialists that are moving and polluting my great southern city “because their northern cities taxes are so high.” THEN...they vote for more filthy, scummy socaialsts here and start the entire process over again!!!

It's always been that way. The Soviet leadership always had fairly palatial dachas for their own pleasure, while city dwellers huddled in miserable apartments of maybe 500 sq. ft. if they were lucky, or country peasants sheltered in primitive hovels which were little more than shacks. Even here, look at the kind of places the socialist scumbags in Hollywood live in, people like Michael Moore and George Clooney, all the while complaining about “the rich”. Obama himself has been living pretty large on the taxpayer dime, as well as spending his own money like water on vacation spots like Martha's Vineyard and Hawaii, $15,000 a week places, the kind of things that an ordinary working stiff like me could never even dream of staying at, yet he wants to tax me even more. And of course the media slobs will never call him out for it. Not like they did George Bush for staying at his own home in Texas. Obama has property in Chicago yet as far as I know since he's been President he's never even been back to it, much less gone there for a vacation. Funny how the media never mentions that.

Typical leftist elitist—always their pibble about workers rights and fairness yet they lead the high life. Do as they say but not as they do. Why mock France when we have our own version of it here in the USSA.

George Orwell said it best......"They are more equal than Joe & Jane."

Shouldn't this information have come out before the election?

John Kerry and Liz Warren have both denied being rich.

Rich celebs like George Clooney hold fundraisers for Obama.
They support Occupy which wants to punish the rich. Um...

Michael Moore is a multi millionaire but tries to portray himself as a workin’ class guy.
