Aggregator extraordinaire Matt Drudge briefly linked to Gawker’s story that alleged ABC’s Robin Roberts “wasn’t enthusiastic” about landing her big gay marriage interview with President Obama because she was worried it would call attention to the “near-open secret that Roberts is a lesbian” this afternoon and the site took the opportunity to taunt him with an update.
“Internet behemoth Matt Drudge, who has just directed his readers to this post, is also commonly understood to be gay,” the update said.
Mr. Drudge removed his link to Gawker within a matter of minutes.

Is there another site one can go to equally as good of format, etc. besides Drudge? Ever since he went heavenly against Newt and totally in the bag for Romney I’ve rarely gone back to his site. Where to go? Suggestions Please!

Who CARES? Good Lord, people, Obama is DESTROYING the Constitution, capitalism, and has declared war on Christianity...
If we can take care of these assaults on our heritage, the sodomy problem will not be difficult to assail.
Let’s not allow Obama to distract us....HE is the one who should be mocked and ridiculed for bringing such a subject into the arena, with all the other big problems we face.

I’ll second that. I haven’t been to Drudge in probably 5 years since the time I got a ridiculous virus after clicking some link there.
Instapundit.com done by Glenn Reynolds is good too, but it isn’t comprehensive in any way.
He’s away now, the guest bloggers aren’t doing such a good job this time. I hope he comes back soon, because you know even though he’s got a life I just want him to post links for me at all times.
And of course Free Republic, we’d be lost without it.
Drudge lost me on Bloody Thursday also. Have looked at the site 1 time since then. No more.

It has a better format, complete content, and references news that is significant, accompanied by most excellent comments, and not so much nonsense as you will find on Drudge.

I like the Daily caller format better than the rightwing news site. The format on the right wing news is too overloaded . I think Drudge’s success is due to his simple format and his selection is just enough that when you go to the page your not overwhelmed with info. Real clear politics’ format is just overloaded with too much. Thank goodness for Free Republic!
