South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy, one of the most outspoken Congressional critics of the Operation Fast and Furious scandal, said Thursday that he thinks President Barack Obama may end up firing Attorney General Eric Holder before the election.
“Oh, I think the thing that drives 99.9 percent of all elected officials is very easy to put your finger on,” Gowdy said in an interview with NRA News’ Ginny Simone. “It starts with a ‘re’ and ends with ‘election.’”
“I think that if he [Obama] believes that the Attorney General has become something of an albatross, and is impacting his ability to carry some swing states, Eric Holder will be in the private practice of law quicker than you say Marc Rich,” Gowdy said.
Rich is the billionaire commodities trader who was under federal indictment for illegally making oil deals with Iran during the hostage crisis in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Holder ultimately facilitated President Bill Clinton’s pardon of Rich on Clinton’s last day in office.
Gowdy said that he, Rep. Darrell Issa and others pushing for accountability on Operation Fast and Furious will not stop until they get all the answers.
Gowdy also said he and Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz had privately discussed how they think they would be similarly aggressive with a Republican administration in regards to Fast and Furious. However, Holder has not complied with an Oversight Committee subpoena, and his defenders have criticized Republican efforts to go after the Attorney General.

NO WAY IN HELL.
Those two are linked together tighter than ticks.
It is a mutually assured destruction type relationship.
For too many officials, it’s an ego trip thing. Even the money and the votes is but a means to the ego trip.
Barack Obama is a big bag of proud pretense. (This is a trap that can ensnare any of us, to be honest about it. We must be careful not to dwell in glass houses if we throw stones. But it is particularly notable played out in Barack’s life.)
I wonder if God ever looks at Barack and muses on what Barack could have been. Something that we might never have heard of until the coming of glory. But God gave Barack the choice.
How far do they go back, just curious?

He’s right on the elected officials, They will kill their own mother to be re elected.
They will do what ever is necessary to be re elected. Every one of them...
In order for Obama to fire Holder he would first have to give Holder a pardon and provide him with a good job with one of his rich backers.
Obama cannot afford to just fire Holder. Holder knows where the bodies are buried. His instructions came from the White House and Obama knows it.
There is one other option. The Ron Brown option. Holder had best watch his back and have some good evidence held in security in case of his accidental death.
I have admired prosecutor Trey Gowdy for a long time on one of my favorite TV show “Forensic Files”. Then I saw him on C-span
on some congressional hearing as a congressman, and recognized that face immediately! I hope he has bigger future in politics, a great man to have on your side.

No can do. Holder’s one of the people who have the goods on Barry. Now, I can imagine Holder might have and accident like Ron Brown did if he becomes too much of a liability.
Obama getting panicky. May make Holder an offer he can’t possibly refuse.
Not a chance. Incompetence and corruption are resume enhancers for socialists like holder/obama.
