A Tacoma couple was terrorized Thursday evening by two armed home invaders about the same time that an emotional Mothers Day message from Trayvon Martins mom, featuring a demonstrably false statistic, was crossing the Internet, and central to both cases is the term senseless gun violence.

Two armed men broken into the home of a Tacoma couple Thursday evening and held them hostage for nearly three hours while they ransacked the home.KIRO TV identified the victims as Remegio and Norma Fernandez, who said they were watching TV at about 6:40 p.m. when two men smashed in a glass door in the back of their house on South Ainsworth Avenue and 76th Street.
Both men were wearing bandannas and armed with a handgun, the couple said. The intruders held them hostage at gunpoint for nearly three hours while they conducted a destructive search for valuables. They took iPads, jewelry and thousands of dollars in cash, police said.

In my opinion, anyone who is using his hands and strength to bash another person's head into the pavement is armed and dangerous This is how young Martin was trained to be and his parent's (for want of a better word) should be prosecuted for inflicting Society with such a vermin. Perhaps, with proper upbringing, he could have been a productive member of Society, but as he was, when he died, sadly, he was not. To elevate him to Sainthood now is ludicrous. To elevate the so-called Parents is even worse.
