WASHINGTON — President Obama on Monday intensified a potentially crucial phase of his reelection try: an effort to define Mitt Romney in negative terms before voters have time to form a more positive image of the Republican challenger.

The president's campaign released an attack ad focusing on Romney's work as a private equity executive. Describing him as "a job destroyer," it features former employees of a now-defunct Kansas City steel company talking about how they watched their employer "bleed to death" after Bain Capital, the investment firm headed by Romney, took control.

I remember in 2008 when everyone thought mccain was out of it and he assured everyone that he would be the nominee. He truly was selected and not elected. Now we’re stuck with Romney.

If I remember correctly, the dealership closings had more to do with political affiliation than supply and demand.

Yes, just the beginning. If Romney's campaign is smart (and we have yet to find out), they will counter with the true success stories of Bain Capital. Staples, Dominos, Sports Authority, Bright Horizons, just to name a few companies that had explosive growth under Bain Capital.

Contrast that to Obama who never even ran a hot dog stand and accomplished virtually nothing in his worthless life other than using his minority status and teleprompter skills to get elected to various positions in government.

A few pictorial charts with actual data and comparisons between Romney and Obama on job destruction would leave the MSM reeling.
