Incrimentally delegitimizing armed citizens.

In a way, this could make things a whole lot easier in wholesale rolling back of bad firearms legislation in California. Few wish to go head to head with the state and their bottomless pit of lawyers (aww, they might have to cut back with the new budget... poor babies..) But a small city might not want to squander the public’s money (err, I mean, the money public employees mean to steal) in a spirited and lengthy defense in courts.
And since these rulings apply to far more than just the municipality involved, with one court challenge, you can wipe out a lot of laws.
I don't know anymore - the laws are so insane at this point, and the lack of any conservative candidates to challenge these liberals, I'm not sure anything can be done to actually roll them back. But I'd sure feel a lot better going up against some stupid law in Acton than against all of Sacramento.
