Senior Homeland Security staffers have no law enforcement experience

President Barack Obama’s Homeland Security secretary, Janet Napolitano, has presided over the hiring of at least four senior staffers and advisers who have no law enforcement experience but align politically with the president.

Jordan Grossman is a special adviser and deputy to the deputy chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security, for instance, yet his resume shows no law enforcement experience. Before Grossman got his post in January 2009, he was a “special assistant” at the Obama-Biden presidential transition team after working for Obama’s 2008 election campaign.

Before that, Grossman worked as a research assistant at the Annenberg Public Policy Center, a communications think tank at the University of Pennsylvania. Grossman also interned for the left-wing Center for American Progress, and for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

While Grossman holds a government position, he is also a Harvard Law School student. He lists no law enforcement experience on his resume, even though the Obama administration appears to have hired him into a senior law enforcement role.

You mean to tell me that homeland insecurity has no professsional justification to be molesting four year children at the airports? I am shocked!

Isn’t it pretty much a known fact that there isn’t anyone in the whole entire administration, that has any experience in anything? They’re all morons and prove it every single day.

Radical political apparatchiks; no law enforcement experience necessary!

Seeing as how Homeland Security now finds enforcing Hollywood copyright violations among their top tasks, none of it really matters, does it?

But on the upside, they have self-brainwashed and require no further indoctrination.

The problem is not that they have no law enforcement experience, it is that they have no experience at all.

Of course, they could have been hall monitors in grade school.

This doesn’t make me feel secure in any way whatsoever. He is using Homeland Security to reward 4th- and 5th-tier campaign workers. Why not just buy a big ad in Newsweek saying “I do not give a rat’s about Homeland Security.” Complete contempt for the department. Sickening.
