If the local poolice want to use drones..fine. It is highly unlikely that they will find anything useful in a court of law and highly likely they will spend a lot of money on a new toy. Just look at all the poolice helo’s they fly around today..they really don’t accomplish much. But they do keep some police pilots employed at high wages.

If they’d have closed the border years ago, they wouldn’t have the need or the excuse.

Electric Eye - Judas Priest

Up here in space
I’m looking down on you
My lasers trace
Everything you do

You think you’ve private lives
Think nothing of the kind
There is no true escape
I’m watching all the time

I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye

Always in focus
You can’t feel my stare
I zoom into you
You don’t know I’m there

I take a pride in probing all your secret moves
My tearless retina takes pictures that can prove

I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye

Electric eye, in the sky
Feel my stare, always there
Theres nothing you can do about it
Develop and expose
I feed upon your every thought
And so my power grows

I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye

My hotair comment on a post about Ron Paul: In some ways I supported Paul’s call to reduce “the police state” or whatever. We probably need the Patriot Act, though, but DRONES everywhere above us is a step too far. Forget the justification, even if drones save lives and money, and all that. Problem, the cost of privacy is greater than even the “saves a few lives” benefit. I don’t think the people will stand for it.

Today Jonathan Hunt to Sheppard Smith on Fox: “There could be as many as 30,000 of these drones flying above us… [talk about the benefits of the drones {yes, saves lives and $}] … but OBVIOUSLY the privacy concerns are HUGE, because they will in effect bring every single backyard into the authorities view. You’ve always had an expectation of privacy in your own backyard. You will no longer have that. (!!)”

Republicans, stand up against masses of drones buzzing above our own homes. Do it now! Start making noise about this.

Using them on the border was nothing but an EXCUSE to do trial runs for actual use against American citizens. Make no mistake. The gov’t just wanted a little practice first.. Has the gov’t ever really cared about the border anyway? Hell no. The gov’t will have fun with them until one collides with a commercial airliner over a major city. They’ll get hijacked by hackers too just like the one lost to Iran.

That wasn’t my point.

Because they have left the border unprotected for so long, the interior of the country is not safe, and may require monitoring.

I also consider these damn drones to be a hazard to general aviation aircraft that are taking off and landing.

Yes, what can be misused will be misused eventually.

However the average person should be far far more concerned about what they are posting on their face book account. (Including pictures)

I find it amazing that as our municipalities (and their taxpayers) run out of money, there is still enough for these improved methods of spying on citizens (who foot the bill for it). We are buying the shackles for them to bind us...

Every breath you take
And every move you make
Every bond you break, every step you take
I'll be watching you

Every single day
And every word you say
Every game you play, every night you stay
I'll be watching you

Some of the lyrics by ironically, The Police.

Conspiracy Theory Fact or Fiction:

Inprison an Americanin indefinitely without trial?
Execute an American without trial?
Search an American without probable cause?
Arrest an American for simply bearing an unloaded arm?
Seize Americans Farms and Farm Equipment even though it is privately owned on Presidential directive?
Arrest Americans for drinking or selling whole milk from their own cows?
Force Americans to form work details under Presidential directive?
Confiscate industrial equipment on Presidential directive?
Nationalize any and all industry on Presidential directive?

All Facts...wait, what country do I live in?

Don’t think sorry’s easily said
Don’t try turning tables instead
You’ve taken lots of chances before
But I’m not gonna give anymore
Don’t ask me
That’s how it goes
Cause part of me knows what you’re thinkin’

Don’t say words you’re gonna regret
Don’t let the fire rush to your head
I’ve heard the accusation before
And I ain’t gonna take any more
Believe me
The sun in your eyes
Made some of the lies worth believing

Chorus:
I am the eye in the sky
Looking at you
I can read your mind
I am the maker of rules
Dealing with fools
I can cheat you blind
And I don’t need to see any more
To know that
I can read your mind, I can read your mind

Don’t leave false illusions behind
Don’t cry cause I ain’t changing my mind
So find another fool like before
Cause I ain’t gonna live anymore believing
Some of the lies while all of the signs are deceiving
