Illegal immigrant pleads guilty to raping 6-year-old girl

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- An illegal immigrant has pleaded guilty to raping a six-year-old Shallotte girl in 2010. Luis Arturo Sanchez, 23, entered a guilty plea this afternoon in Brunswick County Superior Court to first degree rape.

Prosecutors say at the time of the crime, Sanchez was in the United States illegally. Assistant District Attorney Meredith Everhart said in court during the plea that Sanchez had confessed to engaging in intercourse with the child on one occasion and to attempting sexual intercourse with her on at least two other occasions.

Judge Ola Lewis sentenced Sanchez to 12 to 15 years in prison. Sanchez will also be required to complete sex offender treatment in prison, register as a sex offender and be subject to GPS satellite monitoring for the rest of his natural life.

As a result of his status as an illegal alien, the United States Office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has placed an immigration detainer on Sanchez, which requires his deportation from the United States, but that will only occur after he has served his entire active prison sentence in the United States.

It would behoove the fine citizens of this community to make sure all the inmates, where this vermin will serve his term, are fully informed of his crime.

Usually the inmates, in the case of child molesters, have a better justice system.

They are going to deport him after he serves his time. The above doesn't make a lot of sense. Are they going to monitor him in Mexico? He gets to Mexico, slips of his little monitoring anklet and slithers back into the U.S. with a new Id.

As much as we might like it to be so, it rarely happens that child sex offenders get “jail house justice”, they usually segregate them and they live happily in prison with those who are just like them, one big happy family. There are exceeptions, Jeffery Dahmer being one of them.

If you don’t think it’s so, look up the sex offender registry for your own area and see how many completed their sentences and are released to reoffend. There are literally hundreds of them in my smallish county.

Indeed. What I have said and continue to believe, this problem isn’t going to be solved by the Ruling Class until one of their “darlings” is hurt by one of these invaders.

Until one of their children, grandchildren, spouses or other family members that are dear to them is mugged, brutalized, murdered, raped, molested or otherwise violated by one of these invaders, the Ruling Class is perfectly content to allow the victimization of the Country Class.
