Posted on 05/15/2012 5:28:37 AM PDT by Zakeet
Its official: Elizabeth Fauxcahontas Warren isnt even 3 percent Cherokee. Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart.com counts coup:
The slender thread upon which Elizabeth Warrens claim that she is 1/32 Cherokee restsa purported 1894 marriage license applicationhas been exposed as non-existent. Based on a review of the original marriage records found in the files of the Logan County, Oklahoma Court Clerks office in Guthrie, Oklahoma, and the statements of ReJeania Zmek, the Court Clerk of Logan County, Oklahoma, it is likely that the ephemeral 1894 marriage license application never existed.
In modern times we keep marriage license applications, she said. The way theyre issued now, you do the application, then you do the license. We currently do keep records of marriage license applications, she said, explaining that this practice didnt begin until around 1950.
Leahy offers a scan of the documentation or, rather, non-documentation at the link above, showing us a marriage license with blank columns for the race of both bride and groom. It looks like the Cherokee marriage application myth was launched entirely on the basis of an unsubstantiated claim in a family newsletter from 2006.
The only other evidence the Warren campaigns mad scramble for documentation has produced is a cookbook edited in 1984 by Warrens first cousin, and entitled Pow Wow Chow: A Collection of Recipes From Families of the Five Civilized Tribes: Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, & Seminole. There doesnt appear to be any documentary evidence of actual Indian heritage on the part of Warrens cousin, either. And here I was, wondering if this story could get any sillier.

Me no care what genealogists say ... White Squaw still gottem heap high cheek bones ... and cousin write-um about Pow Wow Chow!

So even her BS was a lie.
This is Harvard University.
She’s in heap big trouble now.
Of course she might be Navajo, or Arapahoe, or even St. Louis ho.
Just another grifter cashing in on the affirmative action gravy train that BO rode into office.
“EVERYTHING about socialism is sham and affectation.” - 23.11 Ch23 Evil; Economic Harmonies; Frederic Bastiat 1801-1850
The lie is the weapon used most often by the criminal/socialist.
a bonafide member of the Cambridge Massachusetts Whothefukawee tribe, related to Whothefukawee Chief Ward Churchhill of the Boulder Colorado clan

No see ‘um trouble. She Leftist.
These stories are campaign gold. A typical voter may not want to focus on what the long term economic implications of her overregulating agenda are but this is something they can not only wrap their mind around but have a good laugh about as well. And it’s a tarbaby that she’ll not be able to get rid of - what can she even say at this point?
Dances with Fractions.
Member of the Cigasto Indian tribe.
“Shes in heap big trouble now.”
Democrat LIARS are never in trouble.
Seminole and Creek are "civilized tribes" ?
I guess that 'author' hasn't ever been to a pow-wow and heard the running rumors about "Creek boys"....lol!
(its "hide your women - the Creek boys are here!")
And, as I remember, the Seminoles never surrendered.
Someone should check the rest of her biographical details. On the surface it looks good, but there are some oddities.
Guess not. They're going to join the Big 12.
My eyes are welling up with tears to see this self-righteous witch laid low. It’s probably going to be a pretty decent day !
She can always claim she boinked Robert Byrd, who is a descendant of Pocahontas. Since Byrd isn’t around to deny it, she can claim her affair shared their blood (and other bodily fluids) and thereby made her a descendant of Pocahontas as well.
You know, you’re both right. This will at best be scrubbed from the news cycle. My first reaction was based upon a just, rational world. Rats do have their own set of rules. Many moons ago there was a notion of equality for everyone, but rats are viewed as being more equal by too many complicit institutions. Media, big education (Haaaavad), too many courts, and others. For them the ends justify any means.
This woman has no shame. Like a cancer, years and years of liberal indoctrination have destroyed her from the inside. She is now just another myopic delusional miscreant. The product of a social experiment gone terribly awry.
Sad to think that she took advantage of something that was intended to help those she pretended to be, but not all that surprising.
If she used a lie to open doors that wouldn't open otherwise, then isn't her entire career built upon a lie?
Will she find the character required to 'fess up and own her shame?
For her sake and for the example she could be for others, one hopes so.
My favorite appellation was from Dennis Miller - "Spreading Bull".
Plus, it’s Massachusetts. The Globe is covering for her. And local news has stopped covering this. The story only exists on talk radio.
Still.... Brown may win 3-4 points from this, which could be decisive.
Fortunately, she’s so arrogant that she refuses to come clean. When asked about this fraud, she says “I’m proud of my native American heritage, but let’s not allow the Brown campaign to distract us from Wall Street reform...”
Like with most liberals, its difficult to determine where the lying ends and the delusion begins.
She has also been slow in backing away from the story of her fictitious hard-scrabble childhood.
Warren claim that a single drop of minority blood makes you a minority smacks of the Nazi racial purity laws and the one drop rules of the segregated south.
Not that it matters. Jamie Diamon and his minions have just put her A #1 issue front-and-center again.
Say hello to our first Fake White Indian Senator.
Being a proven liar didn’t hurt Richard Blumenthal in CT, why would it hurt her in MA. Leftists don’t care about the truth, only achieving their goals.
Cherokee by injection?
I’m sure that, somewhere in her family tree, she shares a common ancestor with the Cherokees.
But its probably a lemur.
Lots of potential for fun, here.
For example, what if she were really “Half Jewish and Half Peruvian Hispanic?”
Sens. Harry Byrd (Sr. & Jr.) were descended from Pocahontas. Robert Byrd of WV was poor White trash from North Carolina named Cornelius Sale.
Tune: Indian Reservation (The Lament of the Cherokee Reservation Indian)
She took some small Cherokee ration
Put this on her information
"Native A," although it's slight
She checked the box even though she's white
Took a while till it was known
That Liz is Anglo to the bone
And all the claims she made before
Aren't Lizzie Warren's anymore
Cherokee Checkbox, Cherokee Pride
So proud you hold your cheekbones high
She took the whole Indian fable
Used it for her PC label
Though she's blond with eyes of blue
She's still a redskin through and through
Cherokee Checkbox, Cherokee Pride
So proud you hold your cheekbones high
But maybe someday when she's beat
Cherokee Checkbox will retreat
But I could be wrong.
Unless someone can demonstrate otherwise, there is no relation between Robert Byrd (who was renamed by an aunt, and as I said, his real last name was “Sale”) and the Byrds of Virginia (who were, essentially, considered Virginia “Royalty”). I think some misguided folks in WV thought their Byrd was one of the VA Byrds.
Not sure of the ancestry of his aunt's husband who furnished him with the Byrd surname, but that wouldn't be by blood anyway.
I stand corrected. Likewise, I imagine the famous name probably didn't hurt him in getting his political career started. As I recall, Harry F. Byrd Jr. & Sr. lived near Winchester, Virginia, not far from the West Virginia border.
