The Washington Blade, D.C.'s main LGBT news outlet, is reporting that Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson has placed Chief of Staff Murat Gokcigdem on leave following questions about a 2010 e-mail... staffer Chris Crowe was seeking a letter of recommendation from Johnson for a position in Obama's Treasury Department....
"It is my personal belief that he has contacts there," Gokcigdem wrote. "And they, as a group watching and supporting each other if you know what I mean."

Crowe, the aforementioned gay colleague and not pictured here, later died of a staph infection.
Crowe died of a staph infection in 2011 following an open-heart surgery to treat complications from meningitis.
I think Babelfish may have screwed something up when it did the translation into English. Or there are some details missing.
Otherwise, Gokcigdem is saying exactly what I would expect an ultralib to think.
From what I can gather from the article, if you use the phrase “if you know what I mean” about a gay person, then that’s bad. It doesn’t matter if “if you know what I mean” means “because you know that all left handers stick together” or some other characteristic that has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Simply using the phrase “if you know what I mean” must, simply must, mean “because they’re all gay, you know.” Because, you know, everyone will use whatever excuse they can to persecute gays, if you know what I mean.
The delicious part is the hypocrisy, no, the fraud that liberals are, and all that they stand for is laid bare here. It’s a textbook case for liberalism, and you’re right, the curtain’s pulled back. And it’s documented, thus no wiggle (lying) room to be found.
Why is her chief of staff some Turkish Muslim guy? She is from Texas.
AIDS destroys the immune system, making the victim more susceptible to organisms like staph — and the infections more deadly...
