Why would this senator from Vermont have anything to do with a sheriff in Arizona? You’d think the senators from Arizona would have something to say about a Vermont senator sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. You’d think their senior senator in particular would have something to say about this intrusion into their state’s business.
Oh wait, never mind. John McCain is busy reaching across the aisle.
