I could have told you this... we spend more time in ethnic markets than we do regular grocery stores (OK, we only have Mexican and Asian groceries in town, but it still counts).

You Are a Full-time Foodie
Food is an important part of your life, and there's no denying it.
You're probably at least a decent cook, and you have a very sophisticated palette.

You're up on food trends, and you're always looking to sample something new and different.
You figure that if you're going to eat three meals a day, you might as well make them an adventure.

You Are a Fast Foodie

Like everyone else on the planet, you like to eat. But are you a foodie? Not so much!

You know what you like when it comes to food, and you’re not interested in anything too fancy.

You have been accused of being a picky eater, and that’s partially true.

It’s easy to be a picky eater when you already have some pretty fab foods you love!

I don't go as far as the "Weird Food" guy goes. If it's still moving or has rotted, I'm a passing on it!

You Are a Part-time Foodie
Food is definitely something you get excited about. You love to eat!
And while each meal you have may not be extremely special, you try to spice things up a bit.

You aren't a very picky eater, and you're always looking to expand what you like.
You are willing to give almost anything a go, and you're quite the creative cook.

Yep. But sometimes I just want a PB&J. Of course where I grew up peanut butter was a rare treat so that is exotic for me. :)

Well, sure, the first couple of courses were. The roast beef and roast pork were as American as the salad and the string beans, but I guess they had an Italian flare to them.

The cannoli cheesecake for dessert, I would say, counts as Italian, but the Kirkland vanilla ice cream from Costco brings it back here.

Its Vietnamese beef noodle soup.
Not really spicy unless you add to it at the table.

I like to add the peppers, the sriracha sauce, the hoisin sauce, lime juice and all the Vietnamese herbs and bean sprouts.
Yummo!

YOU ARE A DISCIPLE OF ESCOFFIER AND THE GREAT JAMES BEARD!

In the Kitchen, you accept nothing but the best. You spare no effort in bringing memorable repasts to the table for family and friends!

You have the resources, the knowledge and the resolve to bring your culinary dreams to fruition.

While you are known to be adventurous in the Kitchen, your practices are grounded in classic, time tried methods – lesser techniques are for the prols and Philistines! Escoffier is your inspiration, followed by his accomplished acolyte James Beard.

Bon Appetit, Mes Amis!

Most Viet isn’t particularly spicy, but it is incredibly flavorful.

I did however say in the quiz I would go for Ethiopian food.
Lot’s of that is incredibly spicy
