Newt: Rubio Will Make Great President Someday (Pro-choice, pro-gay marriage V.P. means "REBELLION!")

But when asked what Gingrich would do if Romney tapped him for vice president, the former House speaker says in an interview with Newsmax TV:

“I would ask him to think long and hard about why he was doing that.

“I think he’s probably going to tap someone who’s younger, somebody who brings significant ability to help win the election this fall, and we have a number of very exciting people, whether you’re talking about Senator Marco Rubio in Florida, Senator Rob Portman [in Ohio], Senator Kelly Ayotte in New Hampshire, people like Condi Rice, former secretary of State. We have a lot of talent in the Republican Party.

“You ask three things about a potential vice president. One, could they be president? Two, are they philosophically broadly compatible with the nominee? And three, can they help you win the election? You ask them in that order. There are a number of first-rate talents he could pick that would strengthen the ticket and our chances of winning this fall.”

Asked if Rubio would make a good vice president, Gingrich responds: “Sure. I think he’d make a good president someday. He’s a very very smart, very competent person.”

Gingrich also says there are no potential candidates who would concern him if selected as Romney’s running mate.

He adds: “I’m assuming they’re going to pick somebody who is pro-life and I assume they’re going to pick somebody who believes marriage is between a man and a woman, because those are the two key issues that would lead to a genuine rebellion in the party.

“But given that those are both Romney’s positions, he shouldn’t find any difficulty having somebody who agrees with him on those two issues.” [LOL, /sarc?]

If conservatives fold and vote for Romney, the GOPe will know they can do it every time.

He really suggested Condi Rice??? Surely that was a misquote.

Thanks JediJones.

I’m thinking those who came out openly to support him earlier are, themselves, abused husbands and/or wives. Knowing ‘being good/obedient’ they will/can live (in the GOP kingdom). Not concerned for their (children) citizens who elected them but their meal ticket.

"Gingrich responds: “Sure. I think he’d make a good president someday. He’s a very very smart, very competent person.”

It's time to totally clean house when the Constitution is so openly disregarded. Rubio is ineligible to serve as VP or President.

No, he is eligible. Rubio was born in Florida and his parents had been naturalized by the time of his birth.

Very diplomatic. Gingrich obviously doesn’t want to be perceived as working against the GOP candidate. Romney was annointed as such since Day One and the runs of all the others, including Newt, were for show only, even though none of them realized it at the time.

-
From what I have read, his parents were naturalized after his birth.
Do you have different information?

Homosexual “marriage” is incompatible with a nation that is based on the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God. We can never allow it 0R THE IDEA TO BE GIVEN TO YOUNG BOYS THAT SODOMY IS “GOOD”. That is the worldview of Afghanis—and the boys can’t wait to have harems. Behaviors are learned and conditioned and habituated in the young.

JUSTICE is incompatible with the idea that there is no Moral Law. That is what homosexual “marriage” embraces—NO SEXUAL MORALITY. It destroys all religions that aren’t Satanic.

That all urges are “EQUAL”. NO. THat destructive behaviors are good???? THAT “LOVE” means to demean the human body with disgusting acts-—to “feel” good and show “love” is absurd and a lie? Sadomasochism next. These people pushing homosexual “marriage” are mentally ill and immoral. Virtue is necessary for Freedom. All Founders knew that—we all did until the Marxists forced radical egalitarianism into the classroom—lying about biology and science—claiming no differences between male and female. Changing words-—”gay”, putting ugly acts with the word “marriage”....Sick.... Rubbish!

This idea that government can promote EVIL as GOOD is EVIL. Virtue is what the government is SUPPOSED to PROMOTE. Sodomy is EVIL AND DYSFUNCTIONAL AND SEXIST. We will get a segregated community like Afghanistan-—and women will be treated as filth if we allow Justice to mean acts of sodomy. The Founders are rolling in their grave at such idiotic ideas—which are the OPPOSITE of RATIONAL which makes it UNJUST.

They don’t care if we hold our noses while voting, just as long as we pull the R lever. Not any more, for me.

Romney was probably my last choice, but the fact is no one could beat him. The last two standing were only contending because the better options had faded early. They were not viable options in the general election and were easy prey to Romney’s money. A great candidate could have easily won this primary with such a highlY motivated base desperate for a conservative candidate. No one could pull it off. Romney is the candidate and is now the only one to keep Obama out of the white house after January 2013. Romney has my vote.

I had read they were before his birth, but in this article it says he was four.
It is an interesting article about eligibility.

You can vote how you like. I bet 85% or more of FReepers will vote for Romney.

That does not change the fact that he does not embody the values and principles of this website. This website should not endorse or waste its bandwidth campaigning for him. We should expend our energies getting actual conservatives elected to the House and Senate.

The members can still vote the way they want, there is no shortage of pro-Romney comments.

...

I wouldn’t vote for Romney under any circumstance personally.

Marco Rubio Gives Amazingly Powerful Pro-Life Speech

by Steven Ertelt | LifeNews.com | 2/3/12 7

“Sen. Rubio spoke earnestly and eloquently about the evil of abortion, and encouraged the pro-life movement to stay the course,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List.”

Normally I would be so disgusted that I wouldn’t vote for Romney, but Osodoma is such a catastrophic disaster for our nation that we have a patriotic duty to defeat him.

It’s already a done deal, IMO. I wish it were otherwise.
