The Franciscan University of Steubenville has announced it will drop health insurance coverage for students because the cost of the plan is expected to double under Obamacare. [...]The plan currently costs approximately $600 per year. However, Hernon said their health care provider informed them that under Obamacare, the policy would double in price to $1,200 and the following year it would triple. We couldnt believe the price (increase), he told Fox News. We had them go back and reconfirm it. They said it was dictated by coverage limits that were released by the Obama administration. At the end of the day, its the students who are hurt by this, he said.

Bump. Tagline.
I hate Obama and the rest of his arrogant bastards.
Cannot wait for the Supremes to rule against this crazy law.
I believe the price increases for private insurance were built into Obamacare to force people to drop their private insurance and pick up the government plan, thereby, accomplishing single payer while not actually legislating it.
Isn’t their goal to price everyone out of private insurance, and force us into gov’t-run insurance? Are more employers next?
Now, if the Supreme Court overturns ObamaCare, these "children" are SOL, and they have no one the than except Homobama.
Actually, "insurance" as it is conventionally understood cannot and will not survive Obamacare - which is the whole point.
that's just stage 1 my friend. Gov't run insurance will soon prove to be unaffordable so they'll blame the "greedy" companies and "reform" Obamacare. IOW they'll just go single-payer as the Obummer and his comrades wanted to do all along. The system will be funded through the general tax revenues so to be able to claim that they've finally given you "free healthcare for all". But wait, there's more, and that's phase 3: the new federal single-payer system will go bankrupt as well and so they'll "reform" healthcare once again by devolving it to the states. The states will be fully unprepared to bear such a burden but legislation will still prevent the private sector from providing affordable and efficient healthcare when and to whom is needed. It will be hell. If you have any idea of how it works in Britain, Italy or other EU countries you know it's no joke.
Parents are permitted to carry “children” up to age 26 (I think it’s 26) on their policies, but not for free. There is an additional premium for those “children” which may or may not be cheaper than the $600 mentioned in this article.
Yes, it’s all working according toward the goal of eliminating private insurance companies, then all that will be left is Big Gov.
Most insurance plans cover dependent children who are fulltime students through college. However, not all children’s parents have insurance, and not all students are someone else’s dependent children.
The university loves Obama....so go ahead, pay for DEVILCARE, fools.
The Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH loves Obama? What are you talking about? You don’t know anything about them do you
