It’s a waste of time and money for a GOP Presidential candidate to even bother in MA.

I think he’s got a better shot at New Hampshire that McCain did though.

“It’s a waste of time and money for a GOP Presidential candidate to even bother in MA.’

WRONG!!!! With the gay marriage issue in the spotlight, Romney should be in Boston screaming at the Irish Catholic community that this is the trash they put into office and they better not let it happen again.

“Don’t bet on Mitt Romney winning his home state of Massachusetts....”

Am I reading an article or a statement of hope from the writer?

Not winning your home state is a bad sign.... he needs to move.

If MA is hurting enough he will carry it easily; remember how quickly Teddy’s seat went to a Repub? Five years ago nobody on FR would have believed that was possible.

George W. Bush’s victory lap through California in 2000 could have been time better spent in Florida stretching the margin a bit wider than the 500 or so votes he got.

Doesn't Mitt actually own a home or a summer vacation place in New Hampshire? He can claim them as his home state.

I wouldn't waste a dime on Massachusetts either. Even if I was a northeast RINO from the Dewey/Rockefeller/Bush wing of the GOP.

Ah, Florida 2000.

First the October surprise of the undisclosed DUI supresses would be supporters.

Then news outlets declare the state for Gore, when some polls were still open; causing western Florida conservative voters to say "why bother".

But we had a secret weapon: Pat Buchanan. Some voters were truly confused and meant to vote for Gore.

So a form of Karma stikes, and Bush carries the state and election with it.

Still, it was reckless of Bush not to disclose the DUI months earlier.

Wasn’t Mass the first state to have gay marriage?

If Romney was 1/128 Ute or Navajo he’d have a chance.

Why would Romney do that? The people of Massachusetts already know Romney forced gay marriage on them. Screaming about Obama’s support for gay marriage only reminds them of what Romney did to them.

Why not, up to now, he has bought everything, he didn't win anything. The liars advertising has paid off. Only problem is MA knows the lying POS, the rest of the nation believed the lies.

Yes. But I would still go to the ethnic Catholic communities and hammer it home.

He was elected there. They knew what they were getting back then and they still voted for him.
